So, I've been playing this online game for about a month now. It's called Astro Empires, and when you first start, you have a single planet and you build stuff on it, and you increase your technology, and soon can colonize other planets and ships and attack people and what have you. So it's pretty cool. I suggest you join.
I'm on the Fenix server. Most of the good players are, since it's the newest one. When you sign up, you -can- choose which galaxy you want to be in, if you want. I'm in F15 (that's the name of the galaxy). My game name is Erik du Vellidar (I think, I'll go check that), so message me if you join. If you do join and message me, I can get you into the guild I'm in. Normally, they wouldn't accept people under level 10 since they might be spies or something. Right. So.
Astro Empires
If you sign up, I highly suggest using this website. It's full of really good information that I wish I'd had when I joined. Alas, I only found the site a few days ago. When you just start out, it's probably a good idea to use this guide to start out well. Um yeah. So if you have questions, feel free to message me, and if I don't know the answer I'll find the answer ;D Yep. Hope to see you there? xD
EDIT: Yes, I'm Erik du Vellidar.
EDIT2: Like most games, it'll seem confusing at first, but as soon as you look around and figure things out for a few days, it'll start to all come together. And use that guide!
EDIT3: I suggest building bases far apart. Like, even adjacent (or not adjacent) galaxies, if you so desire. I wish I had done that! xD Mine are all in one place, pretty much. Don't make the same mistakes I did. I'm looking forward to the opening of the Gamma server (though that won't likely be for a long time) so I can start the game right! They don't have to have galaxies between them, but don't build them all in the same region. At the least, build them spaced around your home galaxy.
EDIT4: I would actually suggest reading that guide that I linked completely before signing up. Then you can go back to things relevant to the current situation after you've signed up.
EDIT5: Oh, I finally remembered what I had wanted to say a long time ago! At the beginning, it takes up a bit of time if you want to keep it going smoothly. But after you've been planning for a few days, things start to take longer to build and research (some things take a few days for me to build now, and most researches take several days) and you don't have to be as attentive.
