I was wondering if anyone here has heard of the new game coming out called Heroes of Newerth? It's a game highly based off the Warcraft3 custom map "Defense of the Ancients". The beta for HoN has been out for awhile and I played it a lot over thanksgiving break and will be next week, too, I was jut wondering if anyone here knows about it or even plays it. I'm good friends with some guys making a neat site for the game, which will basically provide info on the game and allow you to calculate stats and such. And then I'll probably help the community side of it and make some funny {expletive hax0rd by Cspace} like joke guides.

EDIT: For a sense of it's popularity already, there are over 1 million registered users for the beta and over 40,000 people actively playing it at any given time. And if you type in "heroes" into google, the first auto-fill is "heroes of newerth"! You can't deny google.

EDIT2: And they're developing the game to be playable on PC, Mac, and even Linux!
