Because of some Redneck Rampage.
Redneck Rampage at home.

Redneck Rampage: The Game.

Check his facebook out. "Dalton Fletcher"
Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see.

Secrets.

Apparently, the police aren't releasing his information about the two people he killed.
But. Facebook tells the world that they were his parents.

The person he made a threat to was his girlfriend at the time.

There was also another kid that killed himself last night, apparently this Dalton kids best friend. But story goes the two are unrelated. Dunno if I believe it.

So now instead of kids that wear black, baggy clothes, with long hair being the prime suspects of Columbine-esque endeavors around my town, the entire viewpoint is going to shift to the opposite end of the spectrum, considering the last few gun threats came from fairly prominent rednecks around this area.

Lets my people off the hook. :o

Silver lining!
Those who will remember, will speak fondly of the warm morning breeze.

The plot thickens.

So. After having a conversation between my dad and the sheriffs office (Because I'm in the loop like that.) I've come to find out the real story. Turns out, as stated earlier, the two incidents were related. And it was kindof tough, 'cause I knew one of the guys involved.

So last night, this 15 year old guy finds out he knocked up his girlfriend. Apparently, she doesn't want anything to do with him, so this drives him to write out a note, take a trip in his truck, and die. He'd let everyone know about it, and when the parents found the note, they sent everyone out looking for him.

Enter this fella that offed his parents. What the sheriff said was, the guys parents wouldn't let him go look for his friend (Of whom they found this morning, RIP Nathan  )

This caused old boy Dalton to think patricide is a good idea, then go to school the next day to 'take care' of old Nathans ex girl for driving his buddy to die.

They found a shotgun in his truck, but arrested him in the middle of class with no problems.

So. That's where things are right now. This town has been considered a 'big city' for a while, but... stuff like this has really shaken a lot of people. Rightfully so. Not enough that they'd cancel a football game for it, though.

Eh. Guess it's just the world we live in. :/
