Well Apparently you air guitarists, are not going to be having any future guitar hero games ever again, please post your thoughts on Activisions comments to trash the entire guitar hero franchise. "While Wednesday's announcement that Activision-Blizzard was pulling the plug on "Guitar Hero" might have turned heads in the gaming world, it was the company's other announcement that might have bigger repercussions for investors".

Steel is my body and fire is my blood.
I have created over thousand blades.
Unaware of loss, Nor aware of gain.
Withstood pain to create many weapons,
Waiting for one's arrival.
I have no regrets, this is the only path.
My whole life was 'Unlimited Blade Works"

Bad decision. They could have milked the Guitar Hero franchise by making a few more sequels.

I'm not too bothered myself. Always been more of a frets on fire fan. (rocking out with your keyboard makes you cool.)

It's a damn good party game. I don't know why they made this move. What with Aerosmith, Metallica, Green Day, etc. Versions, they could have definitely thrown out some other big band packs. But the music game genre was more like a fad for the time being. I have no doubt it'll be back in a few years, but it definitely needs to get reworked. I thought that out of all the games, GH2 and 3 were the most fun. The rest added features and quirks that were too different from the same thing. They tried to fix what wasn't broke, and it made people lose interest after they changed the familiarities.
Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see.
