Log in to Draynor, wearing Zamorak Plate chest and legs, dragon amulet, rune boots, and Scythe.

A freaking SCYTHE. You know. From 2003? And an Easter Ring. You know. That lets me turn in to an egg.

"lol u poor for a lvl 93"

Against my better judgment, I explain I haven't played in years. (S)he tells me of a few things he has that are better than mine.

I don't know what the hell they're talking about. Seriously. I say, "That's all well and good, but you don't have a scythe."

I then go on about how I AM in fact a "Veteran", if you will. And explain that "Back in MY day, A status symbol was having more coal certs than skill total, and full rune meant you were a boss. And you still don't have a scythe."

Walks away "lol noob"

Oh, I am.
I am.
Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see.

On top of that, being a legit player now means you only use PowerBot or RSBuddy on weekdays. Because of this, gold is now nearly worthless. You see those numbers on the left? That's the price. You're lucky that someone even talked to you. Players are having to resort to paying for stuff with shards because it's so hard to buy things with GP.

A whip is now considered a noob weapon. Rune? Laughable. Everyone that has been playing for more than a few months has at least one 99 level, too. They recently released a new skill and had to make the cap 120.

Mutants. Nothing but mutants and cyborgs.
Is it like that on member servers as well?

Please tell me it isn't.
Please?

Game needs a gold sink. Like, a Repair npc or something that needs to have gold poured into it. I haven't even seen the Grand exchange. Does that have a comission fee or deposit fee?

It's worse (although there are less advertising bots which are EVERYWHERE now).

No.

Jagex really couldn't give a sh‌it, as long as people are still paying for membership, and they are.

What they need to do is ban by IP (and wipe the accounts) all of the gold selling websites, and then work on making it harder to get raw materials.

Oh, and stop lying about having a bot detection system and actually make one.

Theyve gave up since they got the license for Transformers.

Essentially when trade/staking returned, they just stopped trying, they post about detection and how they're going to ban to keep people happy, a lot of friends who bot gain a two week suspension at the most and some reset stats, then just continue to do it again and repeat. Gold prices dropped from around 50p (UK) to what i think i saw going for on DI to be around 10p per mil. People arent banned for gold trading and its definitely changed, back years ago you were instantly banned for a dodgy trade.

Oh and you're gear is worthless and noone cares about veterans <3 A standard bank nowadays is around the 800-1b mark. Id probably still stake and play if gold prices stayed up, just glad i sold my bank when they brought it back while it was worth it.

Holy sh‌it, you're right. $0.50 per mill. Crazy.

I knew it was bad, but not that bad. It's probably a better use of time to play private servers, that's if RS2 servers aren't as buggy as they were last time I had a look at them.

The servers ive seen advertised all run good, they just have the same problem, abusive mods.
