ok, low level alchemy turns the item into the amount of gold you would get for it if you sold it at a general store that did not have any of it. High level alchemy turns the item into the amount of gold that a specialty store (maces for example) would give for it if they did not have any of the item. so, high level is worth casting on stuff like myth plate. but thats only if you have spair runes and dont want to walk halfway across runescape.
