I was thinking jagex should add boats to runescape.

When you buy a boat it will be added to youre inventory it wont be like you will have youre boat evrywhere youre going. once you bought it will remain in youre inventory even if you die it will still be shown there unless you decide to sell it or gets destroyed then it will be gone. And when you get to a dock there will be special places where they have ropes you right clcik on them and and click on board the boat the boat will appear infront of you until you leave or sail away. People can board youre boat by clicking on it and click on board it will be like a trading system the owner of the boat must accept. When a boat gets destroyed they are gone for good so you will must buy a new boat. You can buy the boats at boat shops. There will be another shop called the Boat Repair Dock where you can get youre boat repaired. You will need to pay 300gp to repair 10 hitpoints. There will be a boat safe area and one as the wilderness where the battle boats can attack.

Here are the different kind of boats with there information and prices:

Fishing Boat(200hit points):150k it can hold up to 5 people and you can store a maximum of 50 fishes. And once youre out in a certain area you can start fishing then you can store them in crates.

Exploration/Tranport Boat(200hit points):200k these boats are for exploring the sea of transporting other people to islands. Can hold up to 20 people.

Battle Ship(300hit points):300k these boats are used to attack other boats. But first you must equip them with cannons wich you will have to buy from a boat store for 19k each they are used to attack the boat only and they cause 10 hit damage to the ennemies boats they can attack any kind of boats. you can even use rangers on the boat to attack the people on the boat. If a boat gets destroyed the people on it will die and loose all there stuff they had on them. they can carry up to 30 people.

Natural Disasters:

When you are sailing there will be a random time that whirlpools, water spouts/funnels, tsunamis, hurricanes, etc. will appear and cause damage to youre boat.

so please rate my idea and give suggestion on improving it

i wish they had boats too. but there should be a boat wilderness and a boat safe grounds once i can afford the 300k one i will get 30 friends and WATER HOO!!!

Good idea, not much supporting why there should be boats and what is required to use them. I dont like the battle ships or that the fact they should be used to kill others. I strongly support the fishing boat and the transportation boat to get to karamja without paying or entrana for P2P. If they add boats there should be a couple of islands added you can sail/boat to. The only thing missing is the dangers of the sea. Lacks support as I said before. I personally think there should be natural factors added to the sea like whirlpools, water spouts/funnels, tsunamis, hurricanes, etc. and each one would take hits out of your boat. But other than all the over-critism and over-flaming of my post, its a superb idea

if they do do this when i get 300k i am gonna buy the boat and put like 50 cannons on it make the best ship of the sea and buy some more.to make a armada and put 50 cannons on them to and just destroy all u pass by me.
