I have just sent an email to everyone on these boards regarding an invitation back to our community, and am just making sure that this was at least relatively successful (had to do something with the email which previously had not been tested).

Just to make this clear, I do not plan on sending many (if any) other emails of that type, however with the changes to SeeD it is very important that it is known.

On another note, if you did receive the email, please send it to others you know who enjoy online games

The following is the email I sent:

Hey there!

If you have received this email, you have been a member of CurvedSpace or SeeD at some time in the past. Since 2001 we have been growing exponentially, both as a Runescape clan, as well as a general gaming and entertainment community. We now have well over 1000 members and are as active as ever, though some have left due to inactivity in Runescape or conflicts in SeeD over the past couple years.

I am pleased to say, however, that SeeD is undergoing a large amount of change for the better. The major conflicts have now concluded and we are beginning to establish ourselves in a multitude of great online games!

If you are wondering why you have been sent this, we have two important reasons. First of all, this is a one-time invitation back to SeeD and CurvedSpace. Even if you no longer play Runescape, we are beginning to establish ourselves in other games such as Warcraft 3, EverQuest 2, Diablo 2, and many others! Since we are becoming a gaming community, everyone can and should be a part. Also, now is the best time to obtain a leadership position in SeeD in another game! If you are active in an online game, wish to start a clan, and wish to become a leader in SeeD, this is your chance. :-)

Now is a great time for both CurvedSpace and SeeD, and we hope that you desire to be a part of our community once again! Numerous older members have returned and were warmly welcomed, even by members who did not know them. Why not join them and return to SeeD once again?

The CurvedSpace Staff and Leaders of SeeD hope you agree to return! We are sure that you will be pleased with our progress and what we have become. :-)

um i dont think the e-mail adress i put even exists anymore so - no. But i'm sure it got through to at least 10% of people and that's 126.1 of all the members we have so i'm sure some people will come back.
