Im just wondering if it was ok if i posted something in the tip it forums promotting ppl to join SEED?

Nope, sorry. We don't allow open recruiting like that, with random people. It's too risky. The last time SeeD did that, we ended up with a conflict. We don't want that to happen again. Just recruit friends, people you know you can trust

If someone asks you can tell them about SeeD, but don't make a big deal out of it... a few new members are OK, but 50 at once creates havoc. Not good.

Hmmm... you're right... I never thought of it that way. Well, the thing is, it's not totally random recruiting. It's for people who really want to join a clan. 99.9% of the time, it will just be another member. At least, in my opinion

Noone should randomly recruit people in Runescape since there are so many scammers. Yet if Xpkerdudex's idea was implemented, the amounts of recruits SeeDs receive will increase. Well, it's up to Cspace.

The way I see it is ....
1) If I am mining with this person and he seems pretty cool, I might tell him about the site and see if he wants to join (there are usually level 100's at my mines lol)
2) Don't run around varrock world 1, or fally 8, giving out the site
3) Get to know the person first, train or go pking, or do quests together.
Some recruiting is ok, but Cspace doesn't want open recruiting (2 on my list). That keeps the scammers and hackers away
