Well... I want to be more active, but this place is so big I have no clue where to start... yeah, looking around is a sure way to get dizzy. Any place I should start?

Also, before getting ready to drop money for a premium membership, I gotta get myself familiar with what's new (to me) in freeplay-land... so... what is this fatigue setting thingy?

So many things going over my head... i'm so confused *weep*

Fatigue is like tiredness. You gain it as you perform certain skills. Skills such as mining, depending on the rock, your fatigue can go up at different rates. If your fatigue hits 100%, a green message will appear saying, "You are too tired to gain experience. Get some rest" or something like that. You must then use the sleeping bag in your inventory which will recover fatigue slower than if you went to a bed in different buildings. If you're resting in a bed or sleeping bag, a message will appear prompting you to type in a word represented by symbolic letters. This is to prevent autominers and such. Hope I helped

Anything that gives experience gives fatigue as well. Anything that doesn't give experience does not give fatigue.

When using a bed, I usually recover all my fatigue before I can even type the word. With a sleeping bag, it's only like 7% at a time instead of 33.

Also, a fun thing goes like this:
  • 1. Click a nearby bed.
  • 2. While your character is walking toward the bed, quickly click someone's name on your friends-list.
  • 3. When the sleeping window opens, type your word and hit enter.
  • 4. Your word will wake you up... AND be PMed to your friend! This is known as the 'word game.' You can have little thingies to try and complete sentences and such. Fun bluetongue.gif

Ewww... that sleep screen looks... weird. Interesting concept though, makes me wonder when it started.

Anyways, Thanks to all who replied, and thanks to Phieta for that fun little tidbit biglaugh.gif If I ever see friends PM me like that, I won't be as confused.

Also, another question I got is: P2P I know, but F2P? Is that like freeplay, just worded differently? What's the difference?

Annnnd, I would like to be more active around here. Any reccomendations on how I can start being more active as in any boards I should start scanning first?

Thanks in Advance!

P2P = Pay-2-Play (You have to pay to play)
F2P = Free-2-Play (It's free to play)

since we are on the topic of fatigue and sleeping, look what i found when i crossed a load point near lumbridge while sleepiwalking (how you do that is use the map to click where you want to be then quick go into your backpack and click on your sleeping bag) anyhow, notice the oversized map of the area (more than you ever see in the automap) and that it's flip floped so that east and west are reversed from how they are normaly.

RuneVilage.com
that's where i get most of my info.
also the map in the "how to play" section of the runescape help site can be prety usefull for finding stuff as well.
