How do YOU know they haven't tried to contact us. With secret government security areas such as Area 51 and other facilities you can't prove they haven't tried to contact us if they were intercepted by the government... In other words... the government SUCKS
Have a nice cool Samuel Jackson, it'll make ya drunk!! MMM....MMMM Bich

I wasn't saying I thought that, I just felt that the quote from Calvin and Hobbes was significant to the topic. It also brings up a fairly big question - with human society as it is today, would intelligent life existing elsewhere in the universe want to contact us?

Sorry for late posting. I was surfing around the topics and found this one particuly intresting
Stonehenges:
It is believed that man has built has built these stone like temples, But how?, There are many theroies today, but the one i put my support in is that the men would lift these huge stone by slipping a very long stick under it then having 3-4 men push down on the stick to lift it. Also my theory is that to get the stones there would use some kind of slege or ropes around the stone and the 4 mens stomachs then would go were they needed to go dragging the stone behind.
That was just a brief of the history.

lol, has anyone read the book 'The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy'? That has some pretty wierd ideas about the universe, and things on a larger scale than just our planet, such as that the answer to the question of Life, The Universe and Everything is '42' (there may be discrimination - supposedly every version of the Guide is different), and that God's Final Message to his Creation is 'We are sorry for the inconvenience'.
It's quite a good book too.
