I'm not gonna be one to drop names... but, I wanna know what you guys think of the new wave of elitist clans? If you're like me, then you like to look at what other clans are doing and how they operate. Especially when you're bored!! *haha*

I've come across a few that kinda make me sick. They're totally material, conceited, and into abusing others. You hafta have 70+ hp to enter, or you have to bribe them into letting you in. They love random PK and wanna 0wn everyone to prove how bad@$$ they are.

Now time to show some luv...

I wanna take this opportunity to AGAIN commend SeeD, our members and our leaders and supporters on how...uh, COOL you are? LOL Really, we are a large clan that has an incredibly rich history and so much honor. Cspace, thank you for never giving into trends and becoming a jerk. grnwink.gif You have upheld our standards of loyalty and friendship and kept this clan alive and breathing.

To our leader, all of our generals, and to our second-in-command, thank you for never losing sight of what you got into this for. You wanted to create a TRUE community of valued players, and you did. You guys haven't given into popularity contests and infantile competition. But, at the same time, we're strong and to be feared by those who wish to do undue harm to others.

We really are the best. I'm honored to be among such great people.

Lisa
I pixel...and I like it. But, unfortunately, my addiction to RuneScape has sucked my artisitic ability right out of me. I also used to enjoy things like online periodicals. No more. That is the horrid truth of what this game does to you, your friends, your family, your life. SeeD has only furthered the deterioration of my condition. But, alas, I still love you! :P

Hehe, My new garden coming up is completely devoted to helping the people of runescape, stopping scum, and bettering the world through knowledge. The calsn is a great place, I'm glad I chose this one to join. There is much honor to saving someone from certain death, returning a dead person's items, and generally being honorable and kind. Of course, you must possess those qualities to be in the garden, with my approval.

RS being the kind of game it is, based in the era of chivalry, honor and legend, I'm shocked that it's full of so many...er, socially challenged people. LOL

There are people who need protecting, I would love to be a part of what you're doing, Chris! biglaugh.gif

Same here. When people ask me for help on Runescape, I'll usually just go out and give em' what they need TheSmile.gif

I've also seen this, and it really just goes to show you how great of a clan we are.

This is the first clan I joined, and probably the last. I havent been here as long as Ryl and Hyper (and all them) but I have been here long enough to know that we are probably the biggest, nicest, and the "strongest" (as in friend relationships between all the members). We will never die! Oh yeah, thanks Cspace for the long hours you put into this site. thumb.gif

Yes, I agree with Lisa 100%. When I was searching for clans I saw alot of those "High Level Pkers" and realized that wasn't for me since I was lvl 30+ when I joined bluetongue.gif

I don't care what level or how much money anyone has, real life or RS. This clan is based on friendships, and I think that is the best way to do it grnwink.gif

So you really think you can change runescape's players? Don't bother, the world is filled with idiots who are all about negative things. What your going to do will only change 1 or 2% of runescape's players. Still, a good thing to do and very worth noticing. But even if you change that few percent, you still need to get rid of everything else which is close to impossible.

I think setting an example is the point. You're right, we can't force anyone to do things our way, but we can outshine them in the things *we* choose to do. grnwink.gif

And Chris, I would be honored! *hehe*

Viet, Believe it or not, Shaping a new player by teaching them a skill helps a lot. Moon Ice is a high level now, and she also helps newbies. She's never forgotten me for helping her.

And trust me. We can make a change. I don't believe that the whole universe of Runescape is so corrupt as to not being able to bring it back. It is Sandradok's will. (Sandradok is my Runescape god, I've kept him secret for some time, but he's existed for 2 years now)

I agree with you Lisa. There are many people out there that critisize others and think they're the best. They even make pking clan so that they can show off and look down on others. And they have very high requirements to make others think they are powerful and superior. The people that do join are also looked down upon and are there to watch others show off. But show off what? How much time you put in to making others miserable? Be that kind of person causes others to shun you, giving you barely any or no friends.

I agree with this. There are people that you can change and persuade to make the right decision; but many are just there to critisize others and to annoy. They just ignore everyone that tries to make them change.

I also agree with this. People can make a change. They can make people realize how much better it is to be kind and have a bunch of friends instead of a cruel person that critisizes others and shows off. Yet it would take thousands to bring Runescape to a peaceful state. Even then, there will be people that won't change and ignore everyone no matter what.

Most of the high leveled people in Runescape that are act cruel towards low leveled people are just frustrated at being bothered so much. Some do try to help, but the person they're helping just keeping asking questions (and it's hard to read what they say because of bad grammar) and they find it extremely difficult to help them since the person they're helping is so inexperienced and doesn't understand anything you say. Yet it doesn't mean they should be cruel to them and call them names. If they don't want to help because it would be frustrating or they just can't, they should politely say no. And if the person keeps asking them, they should just ignore them or put on chat block, pm block, etc. (it's one of the thinsg they're there for).

This sounds like a great idea! This group will inspire SeeDs even more to be kind and generous to everyone and help others. I'll be sure to join if it is esablished. grnwink.gif

I'd like to congratulate Cspace, Rylkan, and all of the leaders of SeeD like Lisa did for their contribution to SeeD and how well they have maintained this clan and improved it greatly. Joining this clan is a great experience, and inspires you to do many things. I hope to remain here as long as I can. grnwink.gif

P.S. Eek, sorry about the length of this post. Didn't notice that I typed this much when I posted it. rotate.gif

Yes, SeeD wouldn't be half as great without all it's great members. You define what type of a clan SeeD is. Cspace and Rylkan do deserve applause for their efforts for the clan (and for teaching us about defenestration biglaugh.gif ) but all those active SeeDs deserve almost as much recognition. Well done to you all.
