Erm... this should go in... *thinks* Introduction/ Question forum. Anyways...
You don't *have* to use a graphics program. Just find an image on the internet and put this into your signature:
CODE |
[IMG]http://www.domain.com/image.gif[/IMG] |
but change the part between the IMG tags to the address of your picture. It must be on the internet to work! It can't be on your computer, because you'll only be able to see it from your computer.
For a list of good hosts, there's a list in Chatting Zone. If you want a custom sigpic, I'm afraid you'll have to use an image editor. I don't have a sigpic, but I can make good ones using something as simple as MS Paint! That should be on your computer already... Open it. Use it. Play with it until you've mastered its controls. It's great for pixel-by-pixel editing, and as long as you can find a background somewhere, you can just add on top of that.
You can also use Adobe Photoshop, but it's expensive and has a steep learning curve. Once you can use it though... you can do a buttload of cool stuff to your images.
Those who will remember, will speak fondly of the warm morning breeze.
