We are just trying to figure out the current views regarding conflicts, now that SeeD's last conflict was many months ago. I may post more polls similar to this one later, though this specific poll is to assess the readiness of SeeD to be on the offensive if required. Please be honest, and don't think that you must say "yes" to be a "good SeeD" or anything like that.

All feedback would be greatly appreciated as well.

They must die. I would be willing to fight. They shalleth taste the rune in my blade.

Stratigicaly, SeeD has most members around the 50s, impure. Only about mabye 100 members can be fielded at one time, both pure and impure, mostly impure. Alot of whom are in non-combat roles. I don't know about our allies's numbers, but againest the high level "kill em all clans" our members, most of whom are green. They will in all probability, not fare very well. I belive we need to have that mock war to train our soldiers to oppress the tyranny.

We are also weak in the command and movement area as well. I know you are trying your best, cspace, but our fighters are not very well organized for fighting. Plus, the SeeDs do not know how to take orders and move as a fighting force.

This is not meant to insult anyone, just stating the facts from a strategically point-of-view.

Strenght over weakness.
Honor over death.

Xanthor Drathos - Sorceror
Class info:
Sorcerer: Like wizards, but bound to darkness. Sorcerers practice spells of destruction and darkness. Like wizards, they are physically weak, though can do massive damage if given the chance to cast a spell.
- Intelligence Effect (per point): Decreases EP consumption of abilities by 15
- Strength Effect (per point): Normal attack DP + 2
Hometown: Shral Valeron
Race: Dark Elves: Diverging into the path of Darkness at an undetermined date during the Second Age, Dark Elves have become one of the few true evil races in Earthia. They consider Undead to be below them, and scowl at all races and classes not allied with Darkness. While they are not known to hide in the shadows like other Dark races, they are probably one of the most capable of directly harnessing the dark powers of the world to do their bidding.
- For Dark classes: Intelligence + 10; At a post count of 4000, Intelligence + 20 instead

Me Spells
Sorcerer:

- Dark Grip (0): EC=5; DP=4: Surrounds the target with a dark mist, doing minor damage.

- Ground Shock (600): EC=250; DP=110: Will not affect levitated targets

- Dimensional Wave (800): EC=400; DP=160: The dimension is warped around the target, causing a large amount of damage.

-> Storm of Darkness (1500): EC=750; DP=260: The powers of the ancient sorcerer are summoned, showering the target in flames and consuming him/her in darkness.

- Summon Familiar (2000): EC=500; Effect = Summon a Familiar to travel/ Can do anything except attack or use abilities: Allows you to summon a familiar and send it to other areas. It cannot attack and will come back to you if attacked.

In the past SeeD required little time to become ready, and I've derived a plan to train members if needed. We aren't planning on any conflicts, though there is always a possibility that something could happen (as always).

We've found that the destroy-'em-all clans are generally small because they don't have a lot of support (they are different than PKing clans, which I personally have no problem with). They normally have up to 20 members, though are very close (though not always organized). I feel that SeeD has enough high level members that it shouldn't be a major problem (quite a few in the 70's and up). Truthfully Gunblade has been watching many of these clans' actions for quite a while, basically monitoring what is happening. Most of those we were watching are in the 50's range. There are always those who are high though.

Yes. It's one thing to attack other clans because your clan is out PKing, or to prove that they'll lose if they go to war against you, but it's completely different with "bully" clans. They just aren't needed.

And for the record... I'm 42/ 44/ 44/ 42, 49 magic, 33 prayer, and 22 ranged. Combat level is 53 (53.23 actually), 43.25 pure combat (10 impurity levels, and 18.779342723% impure). (Heh, I redid my Combat Level Calculator during Algebra. A few more tweaks to make things happy, and it's postable TheSmile.gif)

While I support this, I have to agree with Yeah Man. SeeD simply is not geared to fight. Heck, most of our members (no offense) have a hard time following orders at a meeting or party! Besides, we have no store of weapons, armor, potions, food, or other supplies. Not because we aren't able to, but because we don't have a clan bank OR a method of donation. I for one would be more than willing to donate steel and iron items, strength potions, food, and anything else we might need. Heck, if we started to go on the offense against bullies like the "kill-'em-all" clans, I might even start playing RuneScape more regularly again.

I'm with Grimbold and Yeah Man. We aren't really ready to fight. Though I totally supportive of protecting little clans from those "Kill Them All" clans. We just are not responsive enough and some of us don't even have armour or weapons from being scammed, hacked etc. We need to have some reserve of rune (or addy or dragon) to help our members fight and win. And most pker clans are totally pure, I for one am really really impure along with a whole lot of other people. So in conclusion I am willing to defend little clans from the "kill them all" clans but I don't think the clan as a whole is ready for a war/battle.
Oh and yeah lets have a mock war training battle. biglaugh.gif

well this is an example to stock up on food just incase of certain moments like this...say if for a reason we go into a war tomarrow (im just saying dont worry we're not...at least i hope not...) how many of u guys will be prepaired to get out ur weapons get food have charged prayer and every thing else? maybe half of us...im just saying...
and besides there is no point in being mean to every noob or sum 1 u meet in rs..theres just no point in it...if u want to be mean go ahead but it will eventually come back to u sooner or later....theres an example of it in EVERY religion (just to bring out sum more examples)
so yes, if there is a "Kill 'Em All!" clan tht is being mean for no reason and picking on the smaller weaker clans then sure ill fight for the smaller clan....its jsut not right..

Yes, I am allways prepared. I have 3 chars, each with a r2h. In case yeah man dies, he has an extra indemand holiday item that will buy him full rune. He also has a stash of emergency coal, food, ammies, str pots incase of battle. The coal also can be liquidated to give me another source of emergency cash.

I suggest that we create about 5 SeeD bankers accounts and give the pws to 5 trusted SeeDs. Instead of frequent drop parties, mabye only 1 a month, we donate stuff to the clan. Notice Donate this is optonial. Why not get rid of old stuff that is taking up bank space and give it to a worthy cause, mabye with the reward of an emblem? The Bankers will sell the non battle things, like dragon bones and stuff like that. Then they will distrible the cash and items amoungs themselves so that we don't put all our eggs into 1 basket. When battle enevitably rolls it's head, then the bankers will help SeeDs who have lost their stuff, supply us with food, pots, ammies and runes. Mabye we can even start jobs back up by having all the members do their jobs for a day or something. Like a chef cooks all day, or a fisher fishes all day.

Prepardness is key.

Heh... back when I was making a clan I made one (eventually would have been more) undercover character. It had a nonchalant name, a completely random 12-character password (letters and numbers), and 5 completely random 40-character recovery answers. Nigh-impossible to crack without a keylogger. I stocked him with a few things, and parked him in Draynor by the certers and bank, but I lost the paper that I had the codes written on, and don't even remember the name screama.gif

Well I'm no pker and I really should get around to buying myself a replacement R2h, but if there is someone in trouble I will help, either a SeeD or just another innocent player. As one of the higher leveled players of SeeD, I'm ready to help in any way I can. I'm against fighting for the sake of fighting, but the role of this clan is to uphold justice and the rules, and I'm ready to do my part in that. If we do create some bankers, I'll help out you other p2p people getting some pots ready for an emergency, as well as some food and stuff.

With all due respects to the clan which i bear allegieance to .
I see SeeD only as a slightly above average clan compared to many stronger clans
like 'Phoenix Clan', 'THE', and many more.

I think if we start to have this policy to help smaller clans, we should start
preparing and training. I believe we have every ability to help small clans
against larger enemies. I believe real superpowers will not bother themselves
to destroy newbie clans. That is why we have a chance against the moderately
powerful killer clans.

If we put ourselves into the field we must be prepared to face stronger enemies.
Therefore i believe we need the assistance of a strong alliance with other like-minded clans. Real alliances, not just paper alliances.

Thats me views in this.

Though i am of low level i am most willing to assist in any wars in any way.

My Sword for the clan.
