This forum is starting to get a bit inactive. I know we've got a lot of the dead gardens, but on the other hand we've got MW, one of the spammiest spam gardens to ever spam a spam. So lets do more trabia chatting.

Oh Zolon, check your spelling on the 'current counillors' page

Lol.. well, then you guys need to make some ideas to make it more interesting in here!

And by that we should have events bluetongue.gif Since we have a bank then maybe we could do some fundraising biglaugh.gif Maybe a bake sale, charity fight, contest, raffles... you know the usual.

Lets brainstorm!

*Suggests a barbeque*

Never heard of someone doing just a plain ol' barbeque in RS...

CHARITY FIGHTS!!!!! Thats a great idea, set it up like a whole bunch of fights between us, with an entrance fee and people placing bets. Figure it out so the people who win get a prize, but we can keep some of the money to donate to the fund. Speaking of the fund, remind me to give you some gp next time I see you on...

Lol, barbeque. Who would buy meat or kebabs though? Same with a cake sale. Raffles or contests might work though.

And X Zolon, I believe i was talking about the spelling errors where you called us all counillors like 3 times bluetongue.gif

Okay, how about I make a poll to decide which event will be our first event?
The choices will be:
Barbeque
Charity Fight
Bake Sale

Feel free to add more.

At the same time we will have a raffle. How about 200gp per ticket for a rune items? There will be 3 winners. Prizes will be rune large, rune plate, and rune 2h.

If its ok with you guys?

I really like the raffle idea... but how would we determine the winner? In other words, how would it be random?

Just curious.

This reminds me of something that I think we should try. SeeDs create "Raffle Baskets". In these they put a whole bunch of prizes. These prizes would include items in Runescape, free signatures/avatars, and anyting else you can come up with to put in it. Once everyone has created their basket (that wants to), everyone buys raffle tickets. They could be about 500gp each. Once everyone has bought all of the raffle tickets they need, they get to put their raffle tickets into everyone's "Raffle Baskets". The more popluar baskets (the ones with the betters prizes) will get more tickets than others, so your chance of winning will be slimmer than other with prizes that aren't so good. You can put as many raffle tickets in each basket as you wish. Then raffle tickets are picked from each basket randomly. Whoever's ticket is picked wins the basket with its prizes! TheSmile.gif All of the money used to buy the raffle tickets could go to the garden for events and other things (like if a member of the garden is hacked/killed).

I think Baseballl has a special program that picks out things randomly. So you can ask him about it. grnwink.gif

My calculator has a randomizer function. I'd be willing to organise the raffle myself (been a bit bored), but you'll have to explain your idea in more detail. Or we could just do a normal raffle, with a few numbers drawn so there are a few prizes. 200 gp a ticket might not be enough if we're trying to make a fair bit of money for the fund...

Just PM me if you want to do the raffle. The way I'd do it randomly is my calculator randomly picks a decimal number from .001 to .999. I multiply it by the amount of tickets, and it'll give me a raffle number... The baskets sounds interesting, but if we do that I'd probably need a bit of help organising it.

Mine has a randomizer as well... I use it for lottery tickets when people are too lazy to choose their own numbers...

Speaking of which, sales died. BUY MY LOTTERY TICKETS! I COMMAND YOU TO DO SO! THEY ARE ONLY 100 GP EACH! SEE THE EVENT/ CONTEST FORUM FOR DETAILS!

So, if we do the raffle baskets, i guess it would be more rewarding for a cheaper price. I guess since we all want to do that then I'll create 3 baskets. But I'm not quite sure how many items we put in? Since its your idea draggy you decide bluetongue.gif

BTW I'm gonna post the poll now.
