The high road is normally used for travel these days. However, at one point in time, a great demon did threaten a great temple and city that was here. A battle of demons and Earthians did go on for many days, as the planet cracked open, releasing Demolius, the doomsayer. This demon was eventually vanquished by forces of ligth and dark. After this, however, the forces of light, dark, and neutral had a civil war, and destroyed everything. Hey then split up, moving outwards and taking new land. Later, THe Demon returned, cutting off the places. Eventually, the heroes rose up with three swords. Together, they slew the doombringer, and then the swords' power became too much for the people, so they split them up into three locations: Deep under the land of the dead, deep within the fortress under ice, and one stayed protected on the main altar in the temple in the high road. However, the temple has been destroyed over time.
