I have a question to anybody who has been playing DarkStorm for a long period of time and feels that they have a firm grasp on the game itself.

I want to make a character, but I don't know what stats to use my points on. I would like to be a miner, not necessarily a fighter just yet. How would I go about setting my character up? Also, how does the levelling sytsem work?

Please help whenever anyone has the chance.

You start off with 10 stat points and 1 of each stat.

Str 1
Int 1
Hp 30

Every stat point that goes to HP is multiplied by 30. Str determines how hard you hit and Int usually decreases the amount of EP you use.

Until 500 posts, for every 50 posts you get 2 stat points. So, when your at 500, you should have 20 more stat points. Now you have 30 stat points. After 500 posts, for every 50 you only get 1 stat point. So if you are at 1000 posts you would have 40 stat points. Just divide the stat points among Str, Int, and HP.

Being a miner doesnt really require anything. All you need to do is sign up. But the mining system is complex and you have to read a bunch of posts ot understand it. The leveling system is (mining) how much ore you mine. Theres a post somewhere that tells you how much xp you get for each ore and how much xp you need to get to the next lvl.

EP is kinda like ur magic points..how much u use up per spell u use...ur total EP would be ur total post count..say u use sumtin tht costs 500 EP and u have 1000 post count ud have 500 EP remaining (ur post count doesnt go down at all) so think of ur post count as ur ep...

this would suck if im totally wrong...

Your EP is your post count. Its Energy Points for attacks. Every time you use an attack you will see EC beside the attack name. Thats Energy Cost. So whatever the energy cost is just minus that by your post count. If you run out of EP then go to a Shrine in your hometown.
