Basically, I was thinking that SeeD could realistically help clans and individuals who are attacked by 'destroy-them-all' clans. This help would be provided through peaceful means, however not initially in the name of SeeD for our security.

This service will be provided by a select group which is independent of the Galbadian Legion. While we do not currently have a name for such a group, those in it could be compared to Jedi Consulars, and their roles would be very similar as well. Success for this group would be persuading a 'destroy-them-all' clan to stop harming innocent and benign clans, while silently assisting the clans which are attacked by such forces if the clan does not change its goals.

This is still just an idea however, and any input would be great. Also, if enough are against this idea, it can be abandoned for it obviously would not be in the interest of SeeD.

Addition: I am trying to find ways that SeeDs could take on missions of their own while involving SeeD and helping others. Whether or not this idea is supported, I am trying to find a way to allow SeeDs to enjoy such missions, organize spy and undercover operations of their own, possibly be like leaders to other clans (of a sort, more like representatives), and improve their personal standings in Runescape (those in this group).

i think this is a good idea cspace, seems like it would be good to help out the needy, maybe it'll get us more allied and better known.

Also i, like many others i hope would find having our own missions to have quite fun.

I'm going to have to say no...If we go off telling those super-war clans that we want them to make peace...they tend to be heartless, and before you know it, we'll have 10 insane clans attacking us.

Let me begin with stating i'm all for this idea, but it will surely not make us popular with these " 'destroy-them-all' clans" as their soule purpouse is to conquer and cause mayham.

I belive this decision will bring war upon us, but i don't mind.

Now that you say it muler n metal smith i do agree with you, that the clans will porbably get revenge, like join together. but i still see this as a good idea.

ya! im in. it is a way to get new allies because they will gain our trust. the more allies/members the better the clan.

If this works as expected, the "destroy-them-all" clans won't know that SeeD is involved; most likely they won't even know that SeeD exists. This would definitely be a concern, though since permission is required for anyone to join the group, those involved would be trusted SeeDs.

The chances are really slim that the clan would know of SeeD, nor would it be able to track a few players to the clan. We would try not to involve ourselves with a clan who could track down our members or somehow has knowledge of SeeD and how it functions (even if they know of SeeD they would not guess to come here for answers).

Again, this is a concern that would need to be taken into account.

Good point super...Once again, why should we intervene with the crazy "kill-all-other-clan" people. Isolationism is one of the greatest weapons. (Except for in World War I and World War II)

Until they come attacking us, I don't see much of an incentive to put our members in a crazy situation like sending them into lunatic clans bent on destruction.

EDIT: I suppose if we have a handful of really responsible people we could try it. Us going to them and saying "Hey, drop your ways of life" might not be the best approach, but if this works correctly, I suppose we could try it out...

I like the idea and like ech said the missions would be quite fun but if some of the "destroy-them-all" clans found out who we were they could all start attacking us.
