Can someone tell me what is wrong about punishing ignorance? Personally, I think not enough is being done to punish stupid people. I have a 4.0 GPA, several college credits, and am always on the honor roll. Why am I having that taken away from me! Grrr, politics is so stupid (Meh, it was one of those credits). I think people that get D's should be suspended from extracurricular activities, and people with F's are off for the year. Maybe then, some of the stupid jocks will learn the importance of an education. That brings me to another point...

How many times have you seen an idiot pick on a smart person for being smart? Those people should be expelled in an instant! Think f what that would do to boost school test scores.

I agree with you 110%...I plan on making the honour roll this year (gr 12). Anyone who can keep a C average just isn't trying and doesn't need to be wasting the schools time. If you have a course that is under C that is understandable but the overall averge should be above C.

Thats just my opinion though.

I say keep it. I've never gotten a B, C, or D on a report card. That would mean all A's, not straight F's. F is the mark of a loser, unless you are one of the unfortunate who cannot do the things most others enjoy. But then, obviously, you wouldn't be on this topic if you were one of that group. "Intelligence Genes" have nothing to do with getting good grades. If people think there are such things as "Intelligence Genes" they should go check up on how many "Stupidity Genes" they have. The only thing that put on the honor roll every year is hard work.

If you are getting C's, D's or F's, go get a tutor, or jump off a cliff.
That's my advice.

I think the Honor Roll should stay. It is not really about how "smart" you are to get good grades, it's hard work and plain effort. Anyone can get an A if they try.

They problem is that most kids don't care enough to get their work done. They would rather spend these years on the couch eating twinkies and ho-ho's watching South Park (nothing aginst the show) not doing there work. They just don't care that they will end up going to Burger U and flipping hamburgers or cleaning bathrooms for the rest of their lives.

Why should you punish the kids who work hard and put in effort just because the kids who don't care feel bad. If it is really that big of a deal they should work harder to get on the Honor Roll, insted of punishing the kids who do work their ***
off to get that A.

We are really pampering the childern way to much with this political correctness. Do you think that their boss when he is upset and considering firing them is going to care if you feel bad or not? You don't do what you supposed to or not puting forth qualilty work you will get fired and the people that put in effort and work hard will get raises and promotions.

I mean its really like saying we should ban raises and promotions beacuse the people who don't care at all feel bad they are not getting the raises and promotions.

What it really comes down to is why should we punish the hard working because the lazy people feel bad they aren't on it?

People always whine about how the people of the US can be overweight, and things like this are why. If you don't want to be made fun of for getting crappy grades, get up off your rear and do some work. You give us Americans that work hard and aren't a hundred pounds overweight a really bad name.

Really, this "political correctness" is liberalist bull****. People need to be held accountable for their actions, period. If the lazy are able to prosper while the hardworking suffer, you have communism, which automatically sucks. You don't want there to be an honor roll because you're too lazy to get up of your ***?! TOUGH ****! Work harder and maybe you'll actually get a job that requires more than a pulse to accomplish.
