May I openly ask, not to be offensive to anyone or any persons religion or beliefs. But what proof do any of us have that there truely is a God? Sure the bible stats that God was the creator of all life amoung us. But who created God? I personally believe in the theory that we were created by a series of multicelluar combustion and fusion of materials and particles that are formed by the escence of energy and life in minerals and proteins that are in every single form of life or being. My theory, please if anyone else has a theory or "PROOF" of how we got here or about god please stat your opinion here.

Well my personal opinion is the same as Miner's, and where in the Bible are the dinosaurs which are scientifically proven to exist 65mil years ago.

Think of it this way...People look for a greater celestial body in which to place their trust and fortune in. If there were no one, they would eventually go to technology...and who says that technology isn't a god. People use god as an "excuse" for things in life. They need something to believe in or to solve their problems. The all knowing, all seeing, all doing...can be this one person which they believe in.

The human mind can create anything is chooses to in the deepest santum of our brains. Some humans even tap into more of their brain than others and can think up ways to try and prove that their god exist and can relativly think of things that are very reasonable and is something that people can believe. So I'm jsut saying that god is something that "COULD" be an imaginary being that was put fourth into the world by a well respected man named jesus, who had many followers who would do anything for him. Even capture the animals for the plagues to prove that he had "powers of god" I am just stating my theory of things.

It's a good question. A very good one. The thing is, most people hang on to your religion. It's just a plain fact. But well, I'll express my opinion.

There is a God, and yet he does not make. He makes happen through force. You see, he is not the one who said, "Let there be life!" And a zebra appeared. He was the force behind evolution, the one that had that single cell develop into a life form.

So hyperfriend, what you are saying that God is the mind of us all? He is the force within all of us that controled out way of living and what we did when we were one celled organism that were to evolve into the beings we not call humans today? But what controlled the animals, what controls the weather? If god was in cells to make us evolve into humans. Was were in the cells that caused them to evolve into animals. Or why is weather formed atall? How was this plane that we call earth put into being?

i agree with hyperfried to an extent i mean if you want to get to down to it miner what created the atoms and moleculs and energy? i mean what created those microscopic organisms that evolved into us. The bible says that in 7 days he created life but that doesnt mean it was earth days or anything, space has its on time. thats really all i have for now ill think more about it later

My view is the same as miner's and cjjones'. I dont believe that there is a god. If there is a god, why has he let all this **** happen to us?? And, when the apocalypse supposedly happens, only true believers will be saved. I thought god was all-forgiving and turned a new page every day?

Think of it this way, science takes as much faith as religion.

I believe in God. My religion is one that i concocted. It is a mix of several religions, with the overall Catholic (I think...) point of view leading the way. I feel that most gods that are preached about (other religions) exist, but that God is the highest. (This is probably staring to sound like Greek Mythology now...). I don't feel that the Virgin Mary is really someone to worship (a Catholic belief). She just said yes, I could have just as easily done the same, no big deal.

My theory on life is "complicated". There was the Big Bang, caused by God. He then created Earth, the creation He is most proud of. He then created man, Adam and Eve. Most humans evolved from primates, although some derived from the two first humans. Adam and Eve gave us sin, and allowed for forgiveness.

Sorry for the "rant-style" of my writings, it was not intended to be any sort of "conversion" speech, or a rant.

Well, I don't believe that god only made adam and eve which created all human life. Where the **** do the chinesse come from? Blacks? Indians? Were adam and eve actually white? We all just asume they are. This is totally bizarre, there was no 2 humans to make all of us. Thats just unreasonable. 7 days btw was now earth days, i am estimating each "day" was a period of 180 years. So i believe in my own terms. Anywayz, more post coming! ok all the blacks came from adam and eve the only reason everyone has different skin color was the climate they lived in blacks was because of the heat of africa and that area and the chinese and them for the coldness i forgot what made there eyes alittle different there. But ya i do believe in god. and i think that adam and eve were the only ones and they populated the earth slowly but surley.
