how come you see some people who are members with something like 1500 posts and then you see mods with like 800 posts??
surely once you reach a certain post count you become a mod?
if not, how do you become a mod?

You become a mod when you post things in the right places, don't start many conflicts, and you are a mature person.

lol, i start conflicts (me and killerconvic are always arguing and i had some good arguments with gohan32 a while back)
i post in the wrong place (they should make it clearer where to post! also if you get your thread moved it means you have doulbel the chanch of people reading it because mods usaly make a link- a tactic that i like lol)
and i really imature! (when i get told off i go and post the same thing again just twice as bad in a different board!)

About the clarity, underneath each forum exists a description of what is to be posted in that forum. You might want to check sometime.

umm i have a feeling your talking about me with the 800 posts.....or around there and the reason im a mod is because i have never started any conflicts and i have stuck by SeeD's side through every problem that we have had even tho i have gotten mad enough to get thoughts of quitting...but im still here....i have been in SeeD for over a year now.

Post count really doesn't mean much... Mine is a lot closer to the 1500 mark than 800, but that has nothing to do with who is a moderator and who isn't. You have to show you can handle the responsibility and that you're mature enough not to betray that trust.

And lprince, using 'tactics' to get more people to read your topics just annoys the Mods, as it creates more work for them. I understand that often people put things in the wrong place accidentally or through a misconception, but doing it on purpose is really aggravating...
