OK... with RS2 coming along, and the addition of running, I propose that all members of the Galbadian Legion schedule an agility practice session (well, you'd have to be P2P...)

By raising our agility we will improve our running when RS2 is finally released. This will allow us to follow our enemies faster, and possibly hunt them down in the wilderness when they think they've escaped.

Our meeting could be spiced up with competitions, for instance, who can complete the course the fastest.
Those who will remember, will speak fondly of the warm morning breeze.

Sounds like a very good idea, Phieta. My agility isn't too bad, but getting together and doing it could make a boring skill a bit more interesting. Even if I will be owned in a race...

Once you've seen if many others are interested, you could schedule an event.

Ah, yes! A true reward for my hard work on getting 50 agility! I'll start training for 55 right away!

Heh, this is a great idea. Especially since it will get me to work on agility for legends also...

Shut up and wait 'till June, silly. You're not supposed to be on anyway grnwink.gif

*Slaps you with a herring*

Hmm...

I'm planning on training my own agility soon anyway (only have 10, lol). The question is, should we do this at the Gnome course, or Barbarian? At Barbarian, lower levels can't come, but at Gnome, higher levels won't get good experience...

Barbarian course is a lot better, but we don't really want to exclude people. Maybe if we leave it a little while so that anyone that really wants to come can get up to 35. Because not only will it be better for the higher levels, but the fact that you can fail makes races more interesting.

Perhaps we should just make two contests, one for Gnome, one for Barbarian. Also, barbarian is a little bit more of a race since you can fall and get hurt, at gnome, it's just who clicks the fastest.

Well I suppose it's possible we could train and have a race at Gnome, then over to Barb for another race (and all the lower levels can spectate).

Does agility make you run faster? I thought it was just for the shorcuts around members side?

On rs1 it is on rs2 it gives you the ability to run a nice distance like if you lets say lvl 20 you could get from fally to maybe barb bridge then be out of energy for running

Agility doesn't make you run faster, it just makes you regain your energy faster.

Actually, note the speed of f2pers running, then members. We run faster.

I thought agility was only enabled on P2P servers... so how would you notice the difference?
