Just figured I'd ask what season people preferred, and why.


I like Autumn or Winter, because I can't stand hot weather. That's probably because Australia can get quite hot in Summer (Seen it get up to about 115 Fahrenheit, and I'm in the cooler part of Australia ), while it doesn't get all that freezing in Winter. I just don't get cold easily, and it can be really refreshing to have a chill to the air.

What about the rest of you?

Yeah, winter's best. Doesn't get quite as hot as there where you are ('tas been up to 99F [~38C] so far this summer) but it is also *really* humid since we're surrounded by water and it rains nearly every day. Nice to have some dry air for a bit, coolness is great too, and winter rain is nicer for some reason.

Yeah, at least when it's hot here it's quite dry.

And it doesn't usually get quite that hot, that was the highest I can remember it being in the last few years, which would include the hottest day in the last century. Most years it gets up to about 40C or so.

I prefer hot weather over cold weather too, or maybe I'm just saying that now because it's summer. Fall is a nice "inbetween" season since most peoples' ideal weather is not too hot and not too cold.

I like summer only because there's no school during it, actually.

Personally, I like winter. I will always take cold over hot, which I hate. And, the snow... it breeds happiness.

Winter. It's the swim season!
I get to break people's hearts because they think they are better than me in 100 yard races in freezing cold water. What could be better than that?

I love winter. I prefer the cold over the heat.
Around here, summer is quite humid and hot, spring is humid and warm, and fall is just a bit cooler than spring.
Winter isn't freezing just a nice change from the heat nearly the rest of the year.
Plus it's darker, which I like for some reason.

Probably so . I've lived in it 18 years+, so I would imagine that would have a lot to do with it, and we don't get a lot of break from it so you get used to it or you spend all your time inside/move away.

Well for me I prefer Winter because it's nice and cold. I just can't stand the heat! And no comments about New Zealand heat all you Americans and Australians.

I mean I just hate the heat because here it can get up to like 30 degrees Celcius if I'm not mistaken... haven't looked at the weather charts in a while. So I just love the cold, especially when it goes to 0 degrees Celcius in the mornings. It's so fun to shiver and feel awake in the morning when you bike through the fog.

I remember one morning it reached -4 degrees Celcius. There was so much ice on the grass and everyone had extra layers on. And then everyone tried to gather around the heaters during class. That morning I biked through the fog and I left my gloves at home... so when I got to school it took about an hour to defrost my fingers since they had minimal movement so I wrapped my sleeve around my hand and placed it on the heater. Man that felt good!
