I've been thinking about starting this up again since it was never carried out, but was always thought of as a fun idea by everybody. And I'd do things though would be, simply put, less organized. Such as those who are actors/actresses don't have assigned roles, they just play whoever is needed at the time. That way we won't constantly have problems like "Frodo isn't here".

So in some areas, less-organized can be a good thing. I'll be using a screenshot program to film the shots, but unfortunately I've lost Photoshop back when my computer was wiped this year, so I can't put the shots together for an animation. It would be great if I could get someone to do that for me, or if someone knows of a free program I could download to do this.

I am not looking for official cast and crew yet, this thread is just to see who is still interested in the idea, maybe how many are interested in working behind the scenes, acting themselves, or hopefully both. I myself will work on the script myself, then post it somewhere for analyzation..I'll explain more on that later. For now I'm just seein' how many I can get interested.

No need to choose certain roles since actors will play whatever is needed.

I remember doing this on EverQuest one time...I was either Merry or Pippin, simply because I had a halfling rogue.

But this sounds fun...If you need any more parts filled, just ask me...I'm willing to play any part needed. <3

I think I might start working on the script now for the Fellowship, might as well start as soon as possible. And whenever I'm online I'll take look around some RS sites to figure out areas and costumes. Once I've figured out most of it, I'll start asking for cast and crew, then I'll post costumes ideas and area ideas for the crew to look over (see if they have any further ideas to improve it, or help fill in gaps I couldn't work out).

I'm still deciding on how to post the script, it'll either be all at once, or I'll post it bit by bit (the latter would most be to not overwhelm people I suppose, I will have to shorten it quite a lot ). To make it easier though, I'll be deriving our script by looking at the movie version of the Lord of the Rings, since it's already cut down and put into a more simpler and entertaining version (don't get me wrong though that Tolkien's work is amazing ).

If anyone has any ideas already for this, just PM 'em to me or dicscuss them here.

Sorry for double-post, just a little update to my progress so far with this. I spent more time than I thought on the script which is currently at about 30 pages long. I'll need to start going through it and shortening it to necessities, though I'm still very tempted to add some original parts to the story (preferably humor ).

My concern right now is the members aspect of shooting. I'm sure there'll be areas in RS more suitable from the member's only have of the world than the one available to F2P, and there will probably be areas for certain shots only found in the members half, so I need to work out how I can shoot that (since I'm F2P myself, a couple more years before I get a credit card. ).

Now to look for some costumes and the actual RS areas anyways. If anyone know some good online databases made by players of things like RuneScape areas and clothes, it would be great if you could direct me to them.
