Since we're getting some new members, thought this could be nifty. The following is the max damage for each weapon type:

Swords: 15-22

Axes: 6-28

Hammers: 19-35

Bows: 15-28

Wands and Staves: 11-22

Sorta off topic but for new people with spellcasters i highly recommend wands over staves since you can use focus items for more energy thumb.gif Staves can be upgraded but focus and wands are better in the long run.

I prefer the staff, as I have a + 7% cast speed, and a +29 health hale staff head, and a +22 fortitud wrapping.

Yeah staves are much better. I believe the Staff Headpiece can vary from +2 to +5 in the sense of energy gain. That makes up for it's normal +10 in energy.

My staff isn't that great though... max Jewelled Staff with a +2 energy headpiece and a +5 armour wrapping I believe. icon_sweatdrop.gif

Nearly got a max rare hammer... 19-33 damage though I think.

^^ Thanks Ayumi, you rock!! ^^

I love my max gold hammer. biglaugh.gif

Hmm... While I believe there's the potential to do better with a wand and focus item than with a staff, it really depends on what you happen to have. If you've gotten an awesome staff, then it's probably simpler to use that than to try and get a similar Wand and focus item combo.

Hmm... I dunno, I quite like my own. Extra armour, +14% damage while enchanted, and it extends weakness time. And since there are a few hammer skills which cause weakness, that works out quite well.

I have a question: 1zhelp.gif

My storage is getting full - (and so are my two other chars) I have a few gold items and some crafting materials. I've already sold my unused runes cause they were so many. What do I do with these gold items and also if they have special modifications like _______ of fortitude should I scavenge them and keep or sell? I have no idea whats good to keep or not. What are high priced items that I should keep and find a buyer? Most of the white and blue weapons I just sell to the merchant - even if they have modifications. Should I get the modification if its good? Keep all modifications? sell them? Augh. conf.gif screama.gif

Oh and these emoticons are cute. ^_^

Actually... it depends on how good the weapon might be. If it's max with good modifications, you could try have a go at selling it however if you're feeling lucky, you could just try salvage a modification.

Or if you're lazy like me, don't care and just sell it to the merchant. bluetongue.gif
