Jagex is continually tightening up on the rules and so much to the point where the whole game of Runescape is redefined by the new skill, yes skill, of Player Moderator. They have a secret score on players of their experience they keep track of. It is a progressed to and attained skill for the greatest most part.

Look. I've played RuneScape since Feb 2001. I've never scammed anyone, and never hacked. However, I was hacked the 2nd year I played, which put me on a whole new stance against rulebreakers.

From what you seem to be saying, is that just anyone can get the status of "Player Moderator" if they report people enough. That isn't true. You have no idea what/how long it takes to gain that privilege. We get no 'special powers' or any way to track players who break rules. All we get is a handly little mute button, which is used to prevent people from breaking any more rules. Mutes are not punishments. That's Jagexs' job.

Runescape redefined. New combat of PBing?

The entire game of Runescape is redefined by having Player Mods which results in the new game play method of PBing. Personally, I don't like what the Runescape game has turned into by the way players can become powerful moderators to be able to track other players in Runescape and cause a terrible in balance in the game with these super-powers.

I didn't make this game or call it something it is not. I may be calling it something for which it was not intended but that is not my fault. I am just being frank, candid and honest about this. Jagex is the one who comes up with, what I consider, an incredibly screwed up way to play the game now. Nonetheless, I do recognize the Runescape game for what it is now. It is a new game of PBing because Jagex made it so.

Once again, you may not be directly saying it, but you sure as hell make it look like we're bad guys. You've only stated what we always hear in game, just re-worded it. We get UNTOLD amounts of abuse for being ones to actually step up and take action against people who have it coming.

Tell me. If you had the option of listening to some moron spam obsceneties or have a moderator take action and rip his virtual mouth off, what would you pick? The latter, I assume.

Player Moderator isn't a title just handed out to any good player out there. They're screened for months and months before the decision is finally made to ask them.

Just because you have a banner that says it doesn't mean you have it. Personally I think that you yourself have no honor. Flamming a clan on their own forums, making false claims, and trying to promote your own clan. You have been very dishonorable to your own organization by putting down a part of it!

Why should people have to work to be in a clan? Clans should be a group of people who are willing to help eachother out, offer advice, work with eachother in a RESPECTFUL manner. Not full of people who have no respect for others and think that they are better than others because they worked longer on certain skills.

It's still considered bypassing the censor. Using it once like that isn't ground for a mute, but it doesn't mean you can't (Or won't) get reported for it. Don't risk it.

And the thing I've seen in most clans I've ever visited, is that nobody within the clan istelf consider themselves higher than others, and 9.99 times out of 10 are willing to help other people out.

But you can't expect someone with 1 Mining and smithing to be allowed in a clan like MaSoRs.

Why not? couldn't that clan offer advice to help that person with lvl 1 mining and smithing so that they could get a higher lvl?

We shouldn't be forced to help others, nor should we give stuff away for free, but we shouldn't restrict who can get into clans. The lead by example of the UFF is set up to let those who want to help out organize events that will help out other members, no one is forced to do anything, but we do it anyways because we want to help one another. We enjoy our freedom and we make the most of it.

If you want to have overlords and clan reqs then we, the UFF are not stopping you! We believe in freedom for everyone and if you want those things then you have the freedom to give up your freedoms. The alternative, which is open and free clanning as doki says is freedom from those things. That is what the UFF offers and that is how we fight against overlords.
