"Well ok then". Vash responded. The comment Mikhail said about protecting brought back the immediate memory of killing that man. Vash shivered.

"Well.. I'm just glad I got what I went in for. Happy Ruckus here was able to help me. And I'm ALSO glad nobody in that town has ever decided to check down this here cliff. Makes for an easy hiding spot."

It was a nice little area carved into the land at the bottom of the cliff. Foliage covered them, so any onlooker from Torlai couldn't look doen and spot them. They had makeshift chairs from rocks and logs, and a campfire. Vash decided this could be his new home, since he was out of one.

[Ruckus Fox]

Ruckus looked up at the mention of his name, turning an inquisitively saucy glare from Vash, to Mikhail, then back again, before continuing the build of his fire. Once rewarded with flames, he'd squeal, "Eureka!" and begin throwing more tinder on, building several sturdy logs around it for an effective fire.

As for calling the place his own, Ruckus wasn't too enthused...He craved bigger, better areas where they could lay low. And with this new band, it looked like they would do less laying low, and more looking for adventure.

[Maxi]

The heat from the fire almost instantly makes the black furred Neko drowzy.

"Guess I should call it a night then...." Mikhail yawns, deciding the tough rock he was perched on was good enough to sleep. As he had lyed down, he yawns in a perplexing feline 'nyaaa~', quite unlike the lower voice he had just spoken with moments earlier. If he had realised that before he drifted off to sleep, Mikhail would've probably knocked his head on his make-shift bed in embarassment.



((OOC: Eww, eww, EWW! Ruckus! .. Anyway have to stop it here, night.))

Vash watched Mikhail nod off to sleep. He noticed his tail would twitch every time the fire would pop. He didn't think much of it, though.

Vash heard owls hooting in the treetops above.

He watched Ruckus poke Mikhail in his sleep, just to antagonize. It was enough to make him laugh.

Vash laid down and slowly nodded off to sleep.

Morgath stars at the others and thinks (I wish they were all normal animals.. im getting hungry)
Then lays down on the ground and curls up in a ball and falls asleep

[Charlie]

Sion stayed staring into the fore for a while. He could'nt sleep. Morgath's snoring was keeping him up ( ). The fire crackled away. Someone turned over in there sleep and snorted.
He laid his head down and closed his eyes. He did'nt know what he was doing here. It was such an odd group.
As he was starting to drift off to sleep, he heard a stick snap....

[Rohtaren]

rohtaren's instincts told him to imediately cringe and mentally retreat when he heard the twig snap, but when he looked down, he noticed that his foot had landed upon a twig and cracked it.

"sorry!" he wisphered to the angry sion, and huriedly, but thoughtfully, stepped over to a spce large enough for his tall body, crawled underneath a pile of leaves, and tried to sleep. he could not though, images of the townspeople attacking his family viciously, his own friends turning aainst him when his half elf features began to come forward, his father rushing him from a burning home and instructing him to run for safety before charging back into their home...

with a jolt, he sat up, seeing that the camp was still asleep, he looked towards sion, who was staring at him with a dark and plotting look on his face.

[Charlie]

Sion was furious. Rohtaren was the cause of him now being awake yet again. He would never get sleep now. He was'nt a good morning person without his sleep.
Rohtaren was staring at him now. He didn't know why. He looked sort of scared. Sion gave him a puzzled look and laid his head back down to at least attempt to sleep.

[Rohtaren]

rohtaren sat motionless, once he thought sion had gone to sleep, he carefully stood up and walked to the fire. there he layed another log upon it and watched the shadowy trees surrounding camp. then he thought he heard a loud rustling in the trees, he sat stalk still, watching where the sound came from... all of a sudden, something began throwing pinecones at him... it startd again in another place...

oh, great. rohtaren thought.

he stood up and soundlessly walked towards the creature... or the shadow of the creature... and quickly grabbed it. it resisted but his grip was too strong, it finally gave up and he dragged it out of the bushes. it was a small... thing, he didn't know how to describe it.

"please sir, don't hurt me!" it screamed, the entire camp awoke"i was only trying to have some fun!"

[Nate]

Morgath wakes up from all the noise and angrily says "Thats the second time i've been woken this day.."
Then he sees Rohtaren holding the person and wonders over to see what this is all about. Then says with a slight growl in his tone "Who are you and why are you spying on us?"

[Res]

Vash doesn't move fromhis reclined position. He doesn't even open his eyes.

"Morgath. Sion. Ease it up... I'm sure whatever..." He immediately scrambled to his feet in confusion.

"Someone is here from Torlai!! They found us!! And they're gonna kill me!! I just know it! AACCKK!!" He screamed. After actually assessing the situation, he felt rather silly and sat back down on his tree rather sheepishly.

[Maxi]

As a reflex to the noise around him, Mikhail's ears twitch with each sentence and raised tone. However, it turns out he is a heavy sleeper. Sometimes it's amazing how much someone can sleep through.


All you see is Mikhail unconsciously stretching, and returning to the sprayed out pattern lying on his stomach.

[Ruckus Fox]

Ruckus awoke with a squeak, in seconds, he dashed his way up and over to Vash, crawling up over his arm to peek his head over the warrior's opposite shoulder as he withdrew his knife. "WHERE?! I'll gut 'em! One two, three...Erm...Four!"

After sensing no immediate danger, he leered over Vash to look at the comotion on the ground. "What the hell is this now! Let that thing be and let us get back to sleepin'! I knew we shoulda stuck to a two man duo." e.e; Quite irritated by this disturbance, he sheathed his dagger and got off of Vash, walking back to curl up on his leaves once again.

[Rohtaren]

rohtaren's drilling eye's seemed to drill holes through the little creature struggling for breath in his hands.

"please sir! let me down!" it squealed."i thought i wasn't doing anything wrong!"

rohtaren let it down to the ground but held a firm hand on its shoulder, fixing it with a colder, (for lack of a better word) drillinger gaze.

[Ruckus Fox]

Ruckus had no intention of going back to sleep...yet.

He wanted to find something out about this new comer and see what they had...Perhaps some kind of identification or valuables to give a hint?
