To be 100% honest, I'm not a big fan of it. It's never been something really exciting to me. Never had the urge to sit down and intently watch it. I mean, yeah. I'll watch it if it's the only thing on TV, but I may not purposely choose to change to the channel to see it when it comes on.

And the episodes I have watched when I was bored made me cringe. =/ I hate his voice actor.
Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see.

I would like to add that anima is not directed to children (well most isn't). If you whatch [ADULT SWIM], you can see some good examples of adult/teenage anima.

Hence the "adult" in "[adult swim]."

I tried to get Darkness to watch it awhile ago but he told me he wasn't allowed to watch TV-14 stuff. (I pointed out that some of it is TV-PG. He said something along the lines of "meh.")

I've seen the first 180 or 190 or so as fansubs, it's okay. I really got turned off of it what with the year worth of filler episodes, most of which were pretty bad. Since they're finishing up with that again now I might start watching again. It's a good enough anime, but not exactly a favourite or anything.

Apparently the dubbed version is horrible though, particularly Naruto's voice actor. Don't judge it too harshly off that alone, my suggestion is to try watching it with subtitles and see if your opinion changes. Also the first 10 or 20 are a bit bleh, it picks up a bit a little further in. Probably about the time they start the chuunin exams, can't be bothered checking when that is.

It utterly sucks! And no do not mention my name or if it is from naruto.America totaly screwed up the name's,moves,and some episodes aren't even real,just some the americans created.Honestly I rather watch

justu or dragonflame! omg its katon:Gokyuu no justu and kasge bunshin no justu.I prefer the toonami

Well they have to translate the names so it's suitable for American viewers who haven't watched a fansubbed version.

I personally dont care how bad a voice over is, i prefer english versions of any anime over japanese

Naruto is a good anime. After I finished watching Inuyasha I kinda wandered into the FMA and Ghost in the Shell. After that, I started watching Naruto and have been hooked onto it ever since. I started reading the manga a few weeks ago and have enjoyed it very much.

When it comes to dubs or subs, I prefer the subs because the subs have a touch of authenticity and a type of humor at times. Also the fact that the subs are uncensored, that's another reason why I like it. No having to wonder if the person was swearing, rather than saying darn.

The Chuunin exam saga starts around ep 23. *Knows too much about the show*

I've seen all eps to date. It's an alright anime. Not particularly great, but better then some things. It's got a good combo of humour and action and the movies arn't bad either.
It's in my top 10 list, which i really must get around to updating.....
