I've noticed a few new people in the guild recently, which is great to see. I just thought I'd use this as a reminder that we need more recruiting going on if we're ever going to become bigger. Right now we've got a pretty awesome group of players, but with a few exceptions it's the same few players. So if any of your friends get the game or are looking for a guild, convince them to join. If you meet any cool people in a PUG or while PVPing, feel free to invite them. I'm not suggesting blind mass recruiting from LA, we want to keep the friendly atmosphere we've built up so far. There's quite often an officer online who would be happy to send off invites, and even if there isn't you can post their character name on the board and we'll get on it.

It also can't hurt to get more interaction between the members we already have. A lot of people have given up on hosting events because of a few fairly disappointing turnouts, which is understandable. I think we need to be a bit more aggressive about it. A lot of guildies use Xfire or MSN, so it'd be easy enough to approach people individually to make sure they know about it. You could mention it on guild chat, or on alliance chat to see if any of our allies want to come along. I might also talk to Tan to see if we can use the Guild Announcement thing in-game to point out upcoming events. Last but not least, lets try to get more people checking the DoA board on a regular basis and posting.

I'm very proud of what we've all accomplished and we've got quite a few experienced players right now, but unless we start getting a regular flow of new members nothing will come of it. I feel more a part of this guild then I ever did of the Runescape faction, and I hope that other people share my desire for us to continue moving onto bigger and better things in the future, and that we'll still be around by the start of GW2.

I've been mentioning our guild to new players who I end up helping, but as of yet, they tend to just wander off. Don't want to be too obnoxious with recruiting people sad.gif

Mm, our guildies need to be a little more social. **nudges Rylkan** bluetongue.gif

Anyways, on this note, I probably won't be seen for a little while, since I have a lot of school things to catch up with. =\

I'm on and as active as ever. I'm gonna finish my Tyrian Grandmaster Cartographer (97.3 right now). After that, I'm so up for attracting new members!

I'm trying as well. I invited a guy called Mr. Pearl whom I was doing a Nightfall co-op mission with, and asked him to visit the forums.

He seems to not have done so.
