"Interesting, I've always wanted to see what it was like up there, I've been in Corroria most of my life and recently decided to start exploring the world."

"Er oh, hmm, maybe we could sneak into the fortress over there"

Maklier sits down and takes his computer out and gets it to actively record the conversation of the people at the fortress.

A guard turns toward Neraphym with an inquisitive expression on his face and a hand on the hilt of his sword.
"A grove elf? If you don't mind me asking, what are you doing all the way out here in the middle of the desert?"
This is indeed an unusual place for a grove elf. With all that is happening, it is unusual enough that if it weren't for the alliance, the guard may have responded with more hostility in anticipation of some sort of deception.
***************************
Another guard quickly walks toward Xmadole with a halberd, ready for battle.
"Hail, Elf of the Shadow. Unless you have a very good reason to be here, I will not allow you to pass. Speak quickly!"
***************************
... It would seem that no other guards are watching this entrance.

Under the shadow of the clouds, the lone Aphorite was driving. Aether was behind the wheel of the Anvar M62, looking for a place to stay, with his goggles over his eyes.
The goggles not only resisted the wind, but had a microcomputer built onto the frame and a thin, transparent screen plastered over the lens. He ignored the messages that appeared on the lens, stopped the M62, and looked around. His head turned right, and he saw a town, fortified, and protected with guards. He blinked. "How did I not see that?"
He shrugged, parked the M62 at a safe distance away from the city and started trudging towards the town.
As he comes up to the guard, he grins and says "Evening. I wish to take refuge here for a bit. Y'know, til these clouds pass?"

Ziggy Lupus looks to the small crowd at the perimeter of the town from a distance. "Why did I come here, to the desert of all places?" Ziggy asks himself. "Well, this weather troubles me, so I suppose I should go and see if I can get into the town for shelter."
Ziggy gets off his mount and tucks his gun away to appear less like he might want a fight. He rolled up his sleeves hours ago, but he unrolls them to seem more presentable. He glances at his pants, already visibly dirty. Nothing I can do about that. At least I shouldn't encounter someone who would care about that.
Ziggy walks to the crowd with his mechanical horse and notices the two guards busy with other people. Ziggy decides he'd rather wait to speak to them rather than risk getting caught trying to sneak in.
Ziggy approaches the fellow with the black coat with hopes to get a conversation started. "Hello. What brings you here?"

Xmadole slowly looks around the fortress, and then moves his vision back to the guard.
"Fair enough. I need a place to stay for the night, for I have a importand package to deliver to someone who has found an old ruined building. I mean no harm staying for the night."
He then places his wand in his pocket to avoid to be too suspicious.

Neraphym: "I seek a rare desert flower for an antidote I am making for my sick mother. Will you let me pass?"
Neraphym wonders if the guard will buy his story. Perhaps the part about the sick mother was too much, but then again, who would chance calling him on it?

A guard walks toward the area and turns toward Aether, studying his face for a moment before speaking. He had never seen an aphorite before, and quite possibly never heard of an aphorite either. They don't exactly wander around Telan in most normal circumstances. Luckily, nothing else seems to be normal right now, so the aphorite blends right in.
The guard shrugs, and without speaking stands to the side and points toward the entrance. Aether does not seem to be an enemy, so there's no reason to deny his request.
The guard is near the end of his shift, and wanders back into the town. Two remain at this entrance.
***************************
The guard facing Xmadole does not seem to believe the story.
"Then where is the package?"
***************************
The other guard seems to believe Neraphym's story. Either that, or he just doesn't see any harm in allowing the grove elf to enter. This may be an unusual place for such an elf, but it's even less likely that the elf is here to cause trouble for Aderon.
"You may enter. I hope that after the darkness passes, you succeed with finding that flower."
This guard notices the trouble with Xmadole, and without waiting for a response from Neraphym, walks over to assist the other guard. Both guards at this entrance are now occupied with the shadow elf.

For now it seems that he had avoided arousing suspicion from the Corrorian.
He notices another person approaching and greeting him.
"Hello there. I'm just looking for a place to stay, just like the rest of us here..." he replies.
He now realises that there are several other people at the fortress including a fellow Aphorite.
What is he doing here?! Does he want to be caught by the Corrorian?
He decides to say nothing about the matter and hopes that the Corrorian doesn't notice the Aphorite. He now decides to approach the guard.
"Hail, Knights of Aderon."
Of course he knew who they were well before he arrived; significant information on Earthia had already been recorded by the Aphorites.
"I seek a place to stay in what seems to be quite a dramatic change of events," Reikin says while craning his neck up to the dark sky.
