Any luxuries are a waste of "Hard earned cash" but we buy them anyway because we have nothing better to spend money on.

That's one of the things not a waste of money, and things as paying your bills, rent and food and such.

Did my part there with Childs Play in November.
And I barely see it as a waste of money. If that were the case, my 360, my PC, my TV, my games, my Jeep, my cell phone would all be a waste of money as well.
That's what money is for. Getting things you want, and providing the things you need. Everything I have is calculated to be taken care of under the "Need" list, and I have money left over for something I want.
And no, after extensive H3 matches, Halo is one of my lesser games. Master Chief however, is different as he is a character, and one of my favorites. And tell me honestly, how many people have you seen in a MC suit? And if you ever DID see one, wouldn't you for even a second want to try it?

Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see.

So currently I have $800. Roughly. Meaning that I'm a few weeks shy of the armor. Only problem now is, I had a minor car accident, and now I have to pay to have Wheeljack fixed, which will cost a minimum of $500.
This is not cool. I shall not give up, though.
Luckily, I have a friend that is offering to fix the Jeep at no cost as long as any amount of time is given. I believe I may opt for this route...
/sigh

TINSTAAFL?
For the acronymically challenged, TINSTAAFL or TANSTAAFL means "There Is/Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch". Can't get something for nothing.
And yes. I totally agree with others. Money in itself is indeed supposed to help sustain us, but what do we do with excess? I'm taken care of. I have stashes and reserves for emergencies. Enough to hold me, indeed. For something I really want, I see no qualm in putting forth a small fraction of what I have/will have in the future to something I'd really like.
Like... you save up enough money and buy a game system/computer. Is it a waste of money if it's something you want?

Man, Christmas is a hella waste of cash.
