Please vote honestly, and discuss your ideas for a wiki! It may or may not actually be set up, but I welcome everyone's feedback.
Remember that a wiki is intended to be editable by the public, and is not merely a way to submit content. It's a way that we can write content regarding something, and anyone can contribute more or otherwise improve it.
-------------------------------------
Even if we can post anything we want on it, it should have some central purpose to draw interest. That's probably a worthy discussion.
What I'm thinking right now is a general wiki, but one that is centered around gaming and guilds. We would push for correct information, but allow commentary and amusing content alongside the plain facts. We would allow guilds to wiki themselves if they want, along with some other things that could lead to big multi-guild events and stuff. A wiki can be useful for documenting the history of a guild, as anyone in the guild can add more to it as stuff happens.
It could be one of the things that builds the new SeeD image (alongside the mercenaries), and we can have fun with it in the process. It would also be useful for our divisions, DoA, DS, and other aspects of CurvedSpace. Oh, and insanity.

Along with things about the site/darkstorm/help guides for CurvedSpace, it can also serve as a sort of "Wayback Machine" for us. Articles on old events, places to put pictures, Memorabilia of people that have left or whatnot. More things along that nature.
I'm not a Wiki expert, but I'd definitely contribute.
And I agree with registered members only being allowed to edit.

Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see.

If possible, registered members with over 10 posts. I don't know how difficult that would be to implement though, but without it I'm willing to bet we get alot of viral advertisements on the wiki.
It might just be easer to crack the whip and make the mods patrol the new edits list on the wiki though.

This could be a cool idea, *especially* if DS got its own wiki. That would make lore farming a lot easier. I foresee pages denoting the specifics of turkeys, spam, and defenestration.
