heck...for free mmorpg's I have found none better...many offfer a small amount if your just testing it out, and will only give you full vertion if you subscribe. but on runescape members is sort of like an expantion pack. At 45 bucks for a year, and all the improvments jagex makes to the game within a years time, it is like not even paying a subcription due. rather it is like buying one expantion pack a year...
what I am basicaly saying is that runescape is the best I think a person can get for the cheapest amount of money, and it is on the same lvl as other games like EQ becuase what it lacks in areas like graphics it makes up for in affordability. it caters so well to a demographic yet to be targeted well.
I know that I for onbe cant afford an x-box, dsl, highspeed, broadband, Eq ect. all together yet alone just one of them. so rune scape gives me the best for what I can afford.
heck it deserves an award and hopefully the publicity will bring it that much more attention and improve the game even more.

HALF-LIFE 2 RULES!! It's stupid that u can only play one half-life 2 map online though, the rest is all counter strike
