Recap (No, you are not required to read any of this, but it’s just for me to read in a year, hehe):
When I arrived here in May 2003, recruited by Argentine14, things were going quite great. I earned many great new friends, from first X Zolon and then on to Spikeout who introduced me to many other SeeDs. After I joined I became quite active, attended events, and overall had a wonderful time. My best friend at the time (Carol) and I attained modship around June, and we rejoiced together because we thought we would never get it (I remember that clearly...) I also remember when the forums were combined with CurvedSpace, and I can’t imagine them not to be that way today, hehe. Blah, I still miss cowmanass...
SeeD started to take a little bit of a fall near September. I remember I became an Smod around Sept. 9th, when there was a conflict going on in the games section about SeeD’s FF name (I’m not quite sure exactly what happened at that one O_o ). Then I remember me and Cresky had a Smod war over our profiles.. I edited his location to Turkey Pen and then he nuked my sig. That was something I learned never to do again, because it sure did start a lot of fights that we had no intention of starting, hehe.
Around Feb-March 2004, Green got angry, left, and Anti SeeD began to come into the picture. Eep, things really started to go downhill here. Gunblade came into the spotlight, and it seemed no body wanted to trust anyone because of it. Events were kind of limited. The chat was quite active a lot back then, though. Lol, I’d go in there every night and maybe 10-15 SeeDs and I went crazy there. Eh, I am sort of glad it had become inactive now, because it seemed that the chat was the main starter of conflicts. In March was the first time I heard about SeeD expanding into other games. I never thought we would ever be able to do it, but we sure have, hehe.
Now I remember the RS Beta came out and was ending about now. I was really sad about leaving some of my old friends (some were staying on RS1, like Argentine), but I am glad I chose RS2 by a long-shot, heh. SeeD started to take a rise again from April to May 04, lots of events were planned, but in the background Anti SeeD was getting ready to bring us down again. I wasn’t here through part of the summer (I’m sort of glad I wasn’t, but sad that I wasn’t able help any). Around June/July, Anti SeeD was brought to rest by Justshifl (under the identity of ‘slipknut’). Although, nothing was done to hurt the Anti forums, it just collapsed under its own members and was shut down by Justshifl with no hatred, only with care and respect for them.
Heh, during the next months, SeeD was in the time of healing. Although conflicts were still going on, More events were planned, and the atmosphere seemed to get better and better.
Finally, by the start of Christmas Break, conflicts just.. disappeared.. At the start of 05, barely any fights were taking place. The atmosphere now is totally awesome, and many old members are returning for the SeeD they once knew almost one and a half years ago. Some are also returning for the new games that we are currently expanding in. Even now, older members that have done wrong are coming back and are being forgiven. We are definitely entering what we have all wished for almost a year and a half, what a lot of us have talked about over the while: the golden age.
It’s amazing what SeeD has gone through... We’ve gone through some of the grimmest situations that almost no clan could possibly stand. It goes to show what dedicated administrators, leaders, and members we have. Now that dedication has paid off, and we can all sit back, relax, and enjoy the community we have all created.
Lol, and a little note: We all have to sometime choose our favorite speech that Cspace has ever made, so I choose the speech, ‘SeeD is a Boot’, made during the end of the Anti SeeD problem: 'SeeD is a Boot'

Perrty. You forgot to put in the "Duck and Cover" clip though.
"Fifteen hundred years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, and fifteen minutes ago, you knew that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you'll know tomorrow."

There have been a lot of Boot speeches in the last year. I think my favourite was the one in which we worked out who was which part of the Boot. Cspace was the gum stuck to the bottom of it (of his own choosing, naturally), and I seem to remember you were the stitching holding it together, Star.
You'd better still be here in a year, you're a very big part of what makes SeeD, SeeD. I have my doubts about whether we could have made it as far as we did without our Head of Conflict Resolution, you're always there to be a friend to everybody, even those that have directly struck out at you in the past.
I just wish your combat wasn't quite so high.
