hmm... i cant quite fit this game into a genre. you have an avatar you can pimp up with various things, and you can buy these things with gold you earn in the game. the actual game consists of this: each member of your team selects a vehicle - each vehicle has different projectiles, strengths, and weaknesses - and battles with each enemy member. the actual battle is this: you can move around the map, but your movement is generally very limited - to damage the enemy and kill it, you need to fire your projectiles at the correct angle and correct power - like ballistics - in order for it to reach your enemy and hit. wind also factors into this. there are three different types of projectiles you can use for each vehicle, each are unique. when you do alot of damage, kill someone, or win a battle, you gain gold and gp. gp lets you advance in rank; first, you will be a chick; then a wooden hammer. the ranks progress on, but i dont really focus on them, as they have no in-game impact. theres a lot more to this game, i just havent explained all of it. oh, and the company that made this game and maintains it generates an income by selling certain avatar items for real cash. questionable, but its the only way they keep the game free to play. if anyone wants to check it out, it's at www.gunbound.net. oh and cspace, if this is considered inappropriate advertising, i apologize, and you can remove it if you want.
