Terakuu, striding out from the Frozen Palace, walks briskly to the center of the town. He then stops, the icy wind biting his cheeks, his cloak billowing behind him. There is a light dusting of snow on the ground, and so the regular old town square is undergoing the transformation into the winter wonderland... or deadland.

He suddenly reaches forth into his pack, and brings out a peculiar whistle. It looks as if it was carved from a large block of ice, and is like nothing you've ever seen. He brings it to his lips, and whispers, "It is time." And then he blows the whistle.

The sound is an eerie moan, very similar to the wind itself, yet different at the same time. The wind and the whistle harmonize together, synchronized, to create one, single sound. It sounds to you like a chorus of angels is singing, relieving you of all earthly cares, taking your breath away...

Then, suddenly, a cry is heard. A ram's horn is being sounded. You suddenly see a small band of people appear in the distance to the northwest. Then, another horn sounds, and a band of people appear in the northeast. Another eight bands of people appear to the north, east, west, southwest, southeast, and south. Terakuu is now surrounded by an enormous circle of people in the distance. It seems that there are at least two, maybe even three hundred people.

They seem to be moving towards Terakuu, and over a period of about ten minutes, everyone finally reaches him. There is a large crowd of people now, all gathered around him. He then speaks up.

"You are the elite warriors of Frionia that I have chosen from your ranks. There are many more of you, yet I chose you all as the most worthy for this job. There may yet be a day when Frionia will return to its former glory. However, this day is not it. On this day, I have asked you all to come out of hiding and protect your city, under orders from your King. I ask of you all now - are you willing to take orders from me, and to fight to the death for Frionia, and for Light?"

A great cry emits from the lips of all of the warriors. "Yes!" they roar. "Long live Frionia, long live the King!"

"I ask you all to guard our city, as danger comes from Valeron. Evil is plotting, and we must be ready. Commanders Dell and Deron, will you please come forth?"

The seething mass of soldiers suddenly moved a bit further away from Terakuu, and the circle widened. Two individuals came forth.

"I want you to supervise these soldiers. I want you to make sure there is no place left unguarded. It takes quite a bit of effort to organize three-hundred and fifty men, even ones as well trained as these."

He then speaks to the army as a whole.

"It is time for me to leave. Leave no place unguarded, and may Light prevail!"

He then summons his Holy Steed, and rides of into the distance.

The warriors then spread out under the commanding of Dell and Deron.

OOC: That was intentionally taking advantage of both myself and that particular loophole in the rules. Not to mention that my internet was just fixed twenty minutes ago, giving me, quite literally, no time to respond.

Well your army is cheap, there's no way we can kill it in a fair fight so we had to take them out, and we were doing it in the rule's.

OOC: Quite wrong, in fact. First of all, Zolon is already, OBVIOUSLY, going to take over Earthia. Duh. Not to mention that you guys already have your fancy wraith golems, zombie armies, etc. How is it unfair? Cheap? No, it's not, it's called protection. Doing it in the rules? Yeah, but only by taking advantage of a loophole did you do so. Look, I don't want an arguement to spawn of this.

OOC: Look, the point is, at least this is fair. Completely so. At this rate, Aderon will fall quite easily, and it's obvious that Zolon wants Frionia. So, I give myself protection. What was I going to do, put Terakuu up against the people who are allied with Nerzuul, plus armies of who knows what? No! I need at least SOME insurance, which will probably fall anyway.

Look, I'm in a really, really bad mood right now, and I don't want to start ranting or doing anything stupid. So please, let's just stop commenting on this. Now.

OOC: ...How were we to know you couldn't respond?

An army of over 300 people is slightly disproportionate to the army we command. I have 50 zombies, Shadow assassin commands 30 odd cult people, Ruckus commands 15...Zolly commands 4 NPC, that isn't even 100 people (99 people to be exact)

That's (probably) not even 150 people.

And we all know Terakuu could kill most of those things in one hit. Whatever_anim.gif

You can't just disregard something because you don't like it, it's cheap, and dishonorable. Or else most of Darkstorm would be in the D.A.

OOC: I always create strong NPC's that can be defeated by a side-quest or a little thought.

Such as.. Dark Lord Ner'Zhul could have been easily defeated by healing spells and light spells.

The undead can be defeated easily by a side quest. Otherwise, you'll have to beat up each wraith golem/force with people.

Now, normally, There are a lot of people to fight them anyway, but.. you have like 3 light people and 2 neutrals... whereas I have like 4 dark and 2 neutrals.. Plus, both your neutrals can be swayed to my side...

Anyway, to keep things in check, I've got a leader to control each part of my army, so neh bluetongue.gif

And... at least I come up with cool plans of attack bluetongue.gif that was fun biglaugh.gif Anyway, it doesn't matter what goes on, so long as you don't suddenly conjure up things that defeat my guys instantly.. that would annoy me and completely ruin the game.. If you want to summona massive army to protect Frionia, that's fine, as it is Light's last stand. Just make sure there is at least one way to defeat it.

Oh, and one last note, my guys are often easily defeated by perception. Nobody ever looks around in this game!

OOC: I wish there was more to everything you guys are makin' other than a billion hit points. bluetongue.gif (no offense o' course). Players haven't even gotten to know their own sides, i think we should to that before we start fighting each other. icon_sweatdrop.gif
