Normally, I would have really good advice for something like this. But all I can say is: be friendly, but not creepy. When he starts to notice you as more of a friend, tell him your true feelings again.

Let me tell you something: About a month ago, I emailed a girl that I really do like, and told her how I feel about her. She emailed me back, basically said that she felt the same way. One month, no flirting. Not necessarily necessary.
