Ah I was playing runescape last night around 3:00am. This mornin when I logged on around 1:00 I noticed something. I had nothing and I was standing in Varrock Square. Not as smart as I had thought, I did not check the IP adress, but I was hacked. I am lucky no one stole my account tho, but is there some way I can contact someone or such to get my accounts items back?

There's a reason that they don't give away items, because they don't, always, track acounts 100%, so they really don't have proof or not if you did loose them (you could of just dropped them for all they know).

I also reccomend you scan your computer, because I bet you have a keylogger, or an easily guessed password. For example, if you join many forums/communties using the same password, they could tract their users passwords then use it against you (I've seen this happen), which is why Jagex says use a unique password for RuneScape only.

Ya, as kimo said, run some antivirus software and stuff... its possible you may still have a virus

Sorry to hear that. After you follow Kimos advice and run a good number of anti virus checks, it's a wise idea to change your password and recovery questions. Even though Jagex tells you, it can't hurt to remind you, make the password and questions something only YOU would know. Not like "What was my first teachers name?" Someone formerly in your class may know that. What's my pets name? No.

ONLY you should know this. Like special dates in time. And I recommend your password is more than 6 characters and a nice mixture of letters and numbers.

And the reason Jagex can't and won't replace items, like Kimo said. How many people on RS let alone the internet tell the truth? Drop your armor and tell them you lost it. Log in from a different computer for a different IP for "proof". Can't work. Account security is your responsibility, so best of luck from here on out keeping it safe.
