Please just name the terms for United Freedom Fighters Clan to join SeeD Clan.

How do you believe we can make the transition the smoothest for both of our clans? UFF will integrate with SeeD to become SeeD.

Once it is decided within SeeD how UFF should come into SeeD, the UFF homepage can be changed accordingly.

Let's do this!

If we have a new garden called "Ufforia" as had been proposed by those within SeeD, this would help us make a transition more smoothly.

Unfortunately as was discussed yesterday, a Garden (or faction) cannot really work for this.

The reason a Garden would not work is because they are intended to be inter-game divisions of our community, and having one devoted to the incoming clan would offset it and hinder with integration. It would either create the scenario where one super-active Garden pushes all others into the background, or it could create the scenario where it creates a division where your members and our current members would not interact at the intended level. Also, we went through a bit to scale down the number of Gardens, and creating more would defeat their overall purpose and create a precedent where more would be created in the future for many potential related reasons.

Also, just to explain my reasoning for why a new faction would not work (since a few SeeDs have come to me asking about it)... There's a reason why it was stated in the past (when we created factions to begin with) that only one faction can exist in RS. It would not be beneficial to have two bases in our strongest game and also where we have had our roots ever since 2001. It would create divisions as well as confusion as to SeeD's organization, since the majority of our current members refer to our RS faction simply as "SeeD", and to have an alternate faction in that game would be like creating a second clan from the perspective of our current members.

I would really recommend that we not rush this because it is a bit more complicated than some realize, and a mistake could easily harm both clans involved.

My proposition as an alternative to a Garden or faction is a crossover community of sorts that transcends our main organization. It could function in a similar manner to a Garden and would be a direct part of our forums, but would not set the Garden system off-balance or change its perceived purpose. It also would not be wrongly considered a second base for SeeD and would instead just serve as a place for UFF to maintain its previous associations and whatnot.

This idea is rough though, and again, I ask for some time because I need to consult with our other leaders before anything definite is stated.

I am sorry for the delay, but it is for the best possible outcome for both of our clans. As always I am open to input though, so feel free to let me know what you think.

I think as soon as Cspace gets things all laid out and UFF agrees, this can be done

EDIT: I understand what Cspace is saying, as such that a new garden would not be a good move. The crossover community sounds good, though.

Sorry that I forgot about that. I am really still inexperienced with the effective working of SeeD infrastructure.

A crossover community would be fine. If it answers to UFFs the question what they can do to get involved in the Runescape Faction of SeeD, then this would accomplish much.

With so many UFFs it became difficult to help them all get involved. We were not ready to handle this many new members in our clan. So yes, if you can come in with a plan on this, it would be good.

While I quoted you, I am also replying to many other SeeDs who suggested it today and yesterday, so I figured that it would be best to bring it up for everyone.

I think this can happen, we just need to work out the intricacies so the transition is as smooth as possible.

And don't worry, I think I speak for quite a lot of the clan when I say our infrastructure confuses us at times too.
