well guyz last time i checked here on seeD making fun of religeons is against rules and if so which i hope it is then wuts with "ferret overlords"'s avatar and writing beneath it ? i mean the muhhamed manual of muslim extremist wdf ?

i agree with buck who the hell does ferret think he is?
just because he's a moderator doesnt mean he is free to insult religeons.
or i must have misread the rules. they must have said tht insulting religeons will not be tolerated by anyone.

I have strong faith convictions myself and I can easily talk about what I think about some religions. It can be very tempting to speak ones mind on these topics indeed. I, myself, am very bold to speak out on such topics and have no problem about it.
Howbeit, I think the issue is not whether making fun of religions is right or wrong. There is a time and place for everything. I simply believe, though, that SeeD's forum is NOT the place for such.
I am not at all saying people cannot or should not be open about their faith in this forum. Although, it should be noted that this is not the main purpose of SeeD Forum.
Religious tolerance is in order here for SeeD forum. Therefore, I would not recommend anyone do things such as use the Dutch cartoon of Mohammed with a bomb for a turban as an avatar.
I am glad for a game such as Runescape to provide a nice temporary escape from things.

ya , ur right dokimos so if ferret doesnt mind y doesn't he post here himself explaining himself ( which i seriously doubt he can ) or let him change his "offensive" avatar till he learns more bout the muslim faith , or is that a bit 2 hard 4 illiterates? seriously i though that even ppl with an iq of 6 could be taught some stuff.....

2) I can see how it could be taken offensive by a certain point of view, but to be honest, I don't think that's the message it's sending. I thought it was funny, really. How all Americans go "Extreme" with things like snowboarding, BMX, skating and such, what's wrong with having Extreme Muslims? Another term for that could be "Muslim Xtremists".
3) If you have a problem with a member, it's usually best for you to take care of the matter via PM. For future reference, if you're offended by something, PM it so it remains confidential.
