Just wondering if anyone can link me to somewhere that has an actual section on pre-searing, since I'm just learning that's it's a separate world or somethin'..arr, confused, lol.

Also looking for a guide on pets for Rangers, like it tells you how it works and what creatures are 'charmable'.

Hehe, I think I'll out-do Starry in questions.

EDIT: Lol, I'm always instantly find something after I ask it (even though I'm looking forever before the question).

I found the pet guide, still dunno about a 'pre-searing' section guide.

Well think of Pre-Searing as a tutorial.

Basically learn how the game works, do plenty of quests and when you think you're ready, go out to war through the primary quest.

I got a Melendru's Stalker in pre sear but you can get things like Wolve's and birds also.

Mmkay, I suppose that's why I can;t find much on ptre-searing.

What I don't understand is the area for pre-searing...Can I go back to this after I move on to post-searing? Because Tanny was with me my first time on, but I keep seeing things like 'You Can't do these after you move on in the primary quests'.

That's because you can't go back to Pre-Searing after you change to Post-Searing.

Really I was just wanting you to get used to the game and to do the skill point quest before you crossed over.

She never left. You can create multiple characters, all of which start out in pre-searing. Once you 'leave', Ascalon gets pwnz0red and you are stuck in the post-searing world (2 years later...).

I was scared there, I was like 'no way I missed that...'

And nah, Whitemage Tanny wasn't a female (at least I don't think so), since he was pretty bulky. Reminded me of Fable when you've got your strength maxed out and your character is three times as big as normal people.

Wait, so Tanny has a character that actually isn't short?!

I think I've seen a few guides around for pre-searing, I'll go take a look for one a little later on. Pre-searing is a lot of fun, especially compared with how ugly Ascalon gets afterwards.
