I won't go on about the usual things, and instead get right to the point. What's coming? What's our plan for the near future?

Future of CurvedSpace
- DarkStorm will be reborn as "DS2". This is a complete overhaul of the entire game, but is not Age of Arcana (that's still far off). I've been really busy in reality, and between that and the more imminent needs of CurvedSpace, DS2 has been coming slowly. It's still coming, though, and I hope to finally get it complete enough by March... Though I'm still aiming for some time before February. You can see the DS2 reference site here, which is currently under construction. I'll make more of the site visible within a few days...

- In the even more distant future, I may code a few simple but (hopefully) fun Java games. It just depends on how much spare time I have...

Future of the Arbiters' Order
- We should work out some way to lose the feeling that we need a faction in a game in order to do anything there. The factions are intended to be organized guilds, while the Order is really in any game we want to play. We should focus on getting things going in other games like Team Fortress, Unreal Tournament, World in Conflict, Counter-Strike, Warcraft III, Starcraft, Civilization IV, Need For Speed, Halo, Super Smash Bros (looking ahead

- Member leadership. We thrived back when we realized it, and the feeling seems to be returning, but it's still not here. With the new Tiers and positions, along with everything that has always been here to help members lead, we're capable of it. We should once again see our guild as we once did.
- Recruiting needs to happen this year. We have gone way too long without it. Our guild will need to organize to do it, because a small effort from many will have a greater impact than a large effort from few. Right now this should be our focus.

Let's work together to make 2008 our best yea... WHOA, OUT OF NOWHERE!

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Oh, and happy New Year.
