Hehe. I found this article rather charming in its own right. Especially the alarmists who insist that Americans are attempting to change their beloved biscuits for an inferior product. S'cute I think I can understand though... aren't those biscuits normally made with butter/butter cookies? Oreos are Way different than butter cookies.


It made me think: Do you remember your first oreo? How did you eat it? twist then eat, dunking, ate it like a regular cookie, etc.

I don't exactly remember my first oreo, but my mom has pictures of it Looked like 25% of the cookie made it to my mouth and the rest landed all over my face. I looked happy at least. I assume I dunked too, had a little glass of milk next to me.


And to our friends in England: Is there really that much hype? Are you going to try it? Will you use *gasp* milk to dunk?

But really. Why does it matter if Oreos require a different way of eating than they're used to? It's not like you even -have- to dunk it in anything. I never put Oreos in milk XD Except for sometimes. But they're all acting like "WOMG MILK NOT TEA?! BLASPHEMY!!!!"

Oreos are becoming a huge thing in England lmao, at dinner me and my friends go across the shop to buy a pack everyday hehe. Yummy.

And for the Cookie, British ruined the word which is from dutch origin koekje or (informal) koekie which means little cake, our's is atleast -somewhat- similar and easier to say. So Britain fails, the end.
