So, yeah sequel to the game Left 4 Dead has been announced yesterday. They've even released a trailer.



It's a bit early to be making judgements, but so far it looks like it'll just be left 4 dead with melee weapons, possible bombings and daylight. Hopefully they'll release a gameplay video sooner or later so we can see if this is the case.

Anyway, discuss.

lmao @ taking place in New Orleans. It looks like they're trying to make up for Resident Evil 5.
All things considered, I'm looking forward to this. The zombies look a lot better in daylight. Less stock characters it seems. More variation. This is good.

Hmmm hopefully this one actually has a solid story but I doubt it will, seeing how fast they churned this one out if its just shoot zombies and mutation zombies its a rip off both Dead Rising and the Resident Evil Series, unless they make it have a solid story like Dawn of the Dead or Land of the Dead Movies I wouldn't recommend buying this game rent it first, Look at Might and Magic Dark Messiah, everyone thought yay Heroes of Might and Magic it looks cool 1 gameplay glitchy, you could glitch thru walls fall down thru a floor,etc. plus it wasn't what everyone thought and was too short there most difficult mode was easy mode on DMC4. Guys I definitly say someone rent try and play it let us know if it has a solid story mode instead of just more shoot zombies with no solid objective such as find out how this is happening or introducing the villain,etc.

We don't need a story, but an objective just like the first L4D. Introducing the villain? What villain?

A villain? It's a zombie outbreak. Those tend to be accidents. Not an evil mastermind's plan.

Even if it is an accident the company or person who was responsible for the outbreak is typically considered to be the villain like Resident Evil's Umbrella Corporation.

Frankly, it looks like it should more of a mod or an expansion for the original l4d instead of a standalone game. They certainly haven't changed much in terms of basic gameplay.

Either way, it looks interesting, and you know that if you liked the first l4d, you'll probably end up liking this too. Probably.
