An enslaver of souls. Demonicists can summon spirit minions and enslave the minds of their enemies. Their possession skills can allow the demonicist to coerce actions from their enemies, effectively allowing the use of their arcane abilities (though requiring great concentration and being easily interrupted).

Dark Coercion - A skilled demonicist can force an enemy to take a certain action, including the use of arcane power.

Enslave Mind - With great concentration a demonicist can take control of an enemy. If the demonicist is attacked or a strange command is given (such as suicide), the demonicist is likely to lose control over the target.

Torment Spirit - This ability will usually force a spectral enemy to escape the battle.

Arcane Proxy - A demonicist is capable of using an enemy's affinity as his or her own.

The following are minions that a demonicist can call from the dark realms...

• Orb Swarm - A swarm of spectral orbs that absorb enemies' affinity and cause fear.
• Spectral Soldier - A spirit entity that can use physical equipment and weapons.
• Dark Sword - An animated spectral sword that cannot be blocked by normal equipment.
• Shadow Wolf - A spectral wolf that is particularly dangerous.
