Gunfighter's Guide
Rifleman's Stance - This stance is usually preferred when using high-powered guns such as rifles. A rifleman can fire more quickly and more accurately, and is most effective at a medium to long range.
Commando's Stance - This stance is usually preferred when using fast weapons such as assault guns. A commando can more easily attack groups of enemies, and is effective at a wide range of distances.
Gunslinger's Stance - This stance is usually preferred when using light guns such as side arms. A gunslinger can quickly draw a gun and fire with unexpected accuracy, and can also dual-wield guns.
Sniper's Stance - This stance is usually preferred when assuming a sniper role. It leaves the sniper vulnerable, but provides stealth and great accuracy. It is most effective at a very long range.
Covering Fire - When providing a support role, a gunfighter can easily distract or hold back enemies.
Panic Fire - Sometimes it's necessary to blindly fire a gun around walls or other cover, toward the likely direction of enemies.
Silenced Fire - There are ways to fire certain guns without getting attention. This could be with a silencer, but also creatively with the right timing or cover.
Scope Shot - With a technological rifle, often an intelligent scope or targeting computer is available. A gunfighter can use these to hit targets over great distances.
Prone - A prone position makes you more difficult to hit at a distance, provides enhanced accuracy, but greatly hinders mobility.
Kneel - A kneeling position can provide a quick bit of extra accuracy when it's needed.
Overload Gun - Most energy weapons are powered by an energy cell of some sort. A gunfighter can increase the power output of his or her gun with the risk of damaging it.
