Sentinel's Guide
Tracking Stance - The most common stance assumed by sentinels. It involves a two-handed weapon being held in front with a tracking hilt, and a visor display that anticipates an enemy's motions.
Augmented Stance - Many sentinels prefer to use electromagnetic shield technology, and assume this stance to take advantage of it. Most who use this prefer smaller weapons to prevent interference with a shield generator, since shields would be broken by longer weapons.
Intercept Fire - Sentinels assuming the tracking stance can potentially use a weapon to block shots from enemy guns.
Field Overload - Some sentinels are known to use field weapons, which are weapons that are augmented with energy such as electricity. A skilled sentinel can overload these kinds of weapons with a slight chance of damaging them.
EM Pulse - Sentinels assuming the augmented stance can sometimes cause a shield generator to emit an electromagnetic pulse, causing damage to everyone who is near.
Balance Module - Sentinels often upgrade their leg armor with balance modules, helping them fight while on a moving surface such as a vehicle or ship.
Jump Module - Sentinels often upgrade their leg armor with jump modules, helping them jump much further than normal.
Landing Module - Sentinels often upgrade their boots with landing modules, which decrease the speed at which one would fall.
Blocking Module - Sentinels often upgrade their gloves with blocking modules, which help with guiding a weapon to block gun fire.
Climate Module - Sentinels often upgrade their armor with climate modules, which heat and cool armor to help against dangerous temperature conditions.
Respiration Module - Sentinels often upgrade their helmets with respiration modules, which produce clean air in places that lack enough to breathe, or where the air is toxic. This does no good in a vacuum, where a pressurized suit is necessary.
Repair Module - Sentinels often upgrade their armor with repair modules, which heat damaged components to reform them and close damaged openings. |
