Frionia's Curse I

Nemorok's Final Victory

It is common knowledge that Frionia was not always entombed in ice. Back in the previous Age, Frionia was actually part of the great kingdom of Pompelus (some say it was the city of Pompelus itself). It was the center of the forces of light in the great war that tore the continent of Telan apart. It was said that Nemorok would have taken Pompelus if it weren’t for his unlikely defeat at the hand of an underestimated hero wielding the mythical “Skyrite Blade”.

In his last words, Nemorok cursed Pompelus to be entombed by a perpetual winter. After his legions fled, the air grew colder, and the snow began to fall. To this day the long winter still persists.

Will it continue forever? It is said that only Nemorok’s successor would be capable of releasing the curse, but who this “successor” is is unknown. It is likely that Frionia’s winter will continue for many years, at least until further information is revealed.
