If you're going to ridicule gays and tell them that they don't have rights...Then leave. America is a free country, and if you don't want to respect that people above and below you have equal, or more power than you. Then leave.

You don't -have- to live here, we're not a communist government.

You also don't have any rights to say whether or not gays are allowed to love. If they love each other as much as a straight couple do, shouldn't they be allowed to marry? I think so. I think that you people that don't believe are just afraid. Afraid of looking homo-sexuality straight in the face. You can't just pick at things and call yourself a human being, you have to look around things. Unless....Ofcourse...You're a stubborn Republican.

If you think that gays should be put away for what you do every day with your opposite sex, then you're just like a slaver. Just like the south during the Civil war.

Stop and think about it. Is it really worth it to keep fighting them?

Well my point is, religeon wrongness or not. I belive in creation but whatever even if evolution did happen we were given parts to love weomen and weomen love men. If we were ment to be gay than men would have parts that can be used in male male relation and females would have it to. I mean think about it they have to make male parts for lesbians so obviously it was intened for males to have relations with females. Because it realy won't work any other way.

No, if it wasn't meant to happen, it would not have happened. I don't see how one can go against such a pure thing as love. It boggles my mind. Isn't that what religion is about? It isn't about killing the other guy because he dosen't believe in your invisible friend, or hating someone because your really old book told you to. Religions are guidelines for living your life in a healthy, loving way, not one filled with hatred and death.

Dude if your refuring to the crusades...again..than just be quiet and actually know what your talking about. No religeon isn't about hatred and death but if you do wrong, than you should be punished. I'm gonna speek from you guys point of view.

If god does exist and created everything to work in a certain way "each after its own kind" how can i possibly be "ok" or "tolerant" of gay's when my "religeon" says that it is wrong. So you guys aren't going to change my pooint of view, it's hopeless. Now, think about it this way, you belive that love has no boundries can i change what you belive? no its not going to happen and i'm not even going to try. Evolution wasnt meant to be gay. Like i said its going agasint the nature of evoulution and society. We have to reproduce with the OPPOSITE sex not the SAME sex. Being gay is sort of a WASTE because your not being unproductive as a human being and to the world.

Now i'll go ahead and say it before somene else does. yes lesbians can still have invitro fetilization. but it's still not right.

Well I can't be bothered reading all these pages but I get the general idea that a lot of people are homophobic around here. EVERYONE in this world should be equal so by taking homosexuals rights away by not allowing them to fully express their love to their partner is wrong and goes against my philosophy on life. I myself am quite openly bisexual(though to be fair I'm more atracted to women than men) and think that it's perfectly natural and in some cases a good thing.
The human population is getting too big, so I'm not so botherd if I have a child or not.

Wow...this topic is seriously dissapointing. Guys, when we have a debate, keep it a debate....dont bring up other peoples religions, flame people, disrespect certain groups, or act immaturely....it really ruins the topic for everyone else.

I'm glad to see we're back on topic though...so I suppose I'll post my opinion. To me, being gay is gross...but I'm not going to diss someone over that. I accept they're gay as long as they accept I am straight. And, sorry to bring this up again, but about the selfishness thing...you can't call a gay selfish because he isn't producing children...alot of people can't have children at all, and others just don't want to go through the pain of labor. That doesn't make them selfish, that is just how they want to live their life. This world is about choices, and if someone wants to be gay thats fine with me. If we weren't able to make our own choices, then what would be the point? You would go through the world, never making choices....and I dont know about you guys...but that just isn't me.

So I guess what I'm trying to say here is no, I dont think there should be gay marriage ban...it wont help at all, they will still be couples. So there really wouldn't be a point...yeah.

Sorry 'bout that Left0rz. But it is true...Happens all the time. Saw it at a zoo once...Hehe...Don't you find it interesting that they don't mind, too?...Maybe it's a symbol for people (Especially Republicans since they seem to be the ones for it.) to get off people's backs about it. Alright, here's an on-topic response. Should the United States of America pass a law limiting marraige to male-female couples and prohibiting the marraige of male-male and female-female couples? I say no.

Marraige is not about sex (you can have sex out of wedlock; you can be married and never have sex). Marraige is not about religion (you can be married by your church and it may not be a legal marraige; you can be legally married and your church may not recognize the union). Marriage is about love (unless you count shotgun weddings, Britney Spears, and reality shows).

So if two men or women love each other, why shouldn't they be granted the same benefits given to a man and a woman who love each other?
