i dont want it to hit here... and i dont want to say "i wish it would hit new orleans" beacuse theyre below sealevel...

I was actually very lucky where I was and didn't have any damage to my home or anything. Also didn't have any flooding where I was, so I was very lucky compared to other parts of Miami (mainly north).

Ew... sad.gif Actually, though, hope that it doesn't hit New Orleans. If it were to hit, as a category four... The whole city would be underwater. No joke.

My god that sounds scary. sad.gif

I hope it doesn't effect either town since in both cases it'll be bad. Actually I hope it doesn't hit any town at all. Although I have no idea what a hurricane is like since I don't live in America... we only get floods or earthquakes.

Err... obviously there is some sort of hurricane scale so what is a four like? conf.gif

Typhoons arn't different terms, they are different storms. They originate in different places and swirl in different ways, like toilet flushes. bluetongue.gif

we australians are lucky, i dont think weve had any natural disasters since around 1950-ish, or at least thats what ive read.

well, hope everything turns out for the best, and that silly hurricane decides it wants to go away before it hits anything else.

We had a hurricane in Denmark a few years back. It was really odd, cause my city was right in the eye of the hurricane, where there's nothing. So we had a clear sky with no wind at all, and on the TV you could see pictures from other cities with heavy rain and wind. Odd.

Didn't you have some sandstorm thing in one city sometime? I seem to recall something about it.

We don't get much in Cali.... A few earthquakes hit, some volcanoes farther north than me... That kinda stuff.
